Uncomfortable interaction debuff -20 to all stats for 1 hour
#got dragged into the pointless ‘what did you eat yesterday’ small talk#people simply do not comprehend that yes butter is in fact dairy so no I will not eat your mashed potatoes or vegetables leave me alone#anyway I tell them I didn’t eat much. they move on to talk to each other.#ok my mandatory forced interaction is done I can leave now#starts walking away. my boss stops me and is like ‘um where are you going I’m talking to you?’#oh. ok. goes back to standing there and doesn’t say anything.#2 mins later she accepts that I’ve been there long enough and I am free to walk away#I wish I understood what the point of all this was. because being good at it gets you promoted. but it doesn’t make sense.#and it is incredibly annoying
