#people say starstruck odyssey doesn’t have a plot — you’re wrong

Love how Margaret Encino is like… discovering this terrible plot of deep corruption among harvesting planets and exploitation and making companies into kingdoms of rule; and she’s coming to terms with what it meant to be a cog in all this and realize that’s not ever what she meant she doesn’t want to be successful in isolation, and in this divergence she has lost the only person she felt she was fighting alongside with and she cannot even recognize that person anymore, and worse they think she’s the villain for doing what she thinks is right, meanwhile she’s only 24 she just wanted to be stable and part of this corporate world but at the same time did she? She joined this whacky ship with whacky people which is the antithesis of what she proclaimed her goal was, so was Lucienne right? and Margaret has to contend with all this AND her privilege in ability to get that info AND also isolation as she’s the only one who is set up to do anything about ANYTHING —

Meanwhile the rest of the crew is just fucking up royally and getting themselves into a bad situation cluelessly with no end in sight while they have NO IDEA any of this is going on.

Masterpiece, this whole thing. It’s incredible.
