#99% of the takes ive seen about ai art on this site have been so ridiculously uninformed its not even funny#people linking articles about xyz program adding stuff to their tos regarding the use of ai art#not even reading the article and going on a tirade about how xyz program is gonna add ai image generation and steal your art#everyone freaks out and complains until the company backtracks and firmly bans it and we all celebrate#cool. now instead of having a system in place that mandates credit and regulates its use#anyone who does want to use ai art has to go through the channels that explicitly encourage theft#because if we continue on this path thats all well have left#but whatever#fire bad technology is scary and thomas edison was a witch i guess
