i think it's funny that a lot of the writing the fandom seems to dislike i like for whatever reason
#i'm weird. i'm a weirdo. i don't fit in and i don't............. WANT to fit in#have you ever seen me without these stupid ears? that's weird right?#i just think it's cool that like the entire fandom consists of meta writers at this point and we all have wildly different opinions on like#every character and plot point#i think you could say this shows yun's characterization is inconsistant#but imo it' s a feature not a bug and makes the characters feel very real to me#people in real life are not uniformly consistent rational actors#and it's pretty well established that a lot of the cast is not just lying to each other but to themselves as well#i get that it's frustrating to read#but i love that soubi backslides in his progress#i love that seimei is both very threatening and like. constantly fucking up his plans (actually i have more to say about this)#i like that characters try things but are completely ineffectual for one reason or another#i like that nisei is a complete liar to everyone about everything but imo most of all to himself
