so it's 2am when im replying so this will def need to be reworked later but literally the best part abt him is his moral ambiquity.

like whenever anyone says bs like "dont even compare him w Niragi" it's so clear they dont understand Chishiya at ALL. like are we forgetting the fact Chishiya's plan always involved Usagi being raped?? he used Arisu as the bait and Usagi to cover his tracks as he escaped the Beach, exactly what Kuina said. it's not just Niragi when Chishita opened the doors for Usagi to be hurt in that way in the first place; his apathy in general parctially stems from his internalized misogyny which is always looked over by the fandom and it pmo. like no Chishiya is not a "real man" when he has CANONICALLY enabled Niragi's more violent tendencies toward women.

his narcissism is so interesting bc while it does stem from a place of "i never want to feel how i felt growing up ever again. i dont wanna be empty anymore," but that selfishness just continues the cycle of self hatred and self sabatogge.

it's not "he can do no wrong" but he THINKS he can do no wrong. ppl in this fandom always say bullshit like "why are there no men irl like him 🙁" but there are real men like him, theyre just, more often than not, horribly abusive toward the people who trust, love, and care for them. exactly what happened with Arisu.

hard pill to swallow but he would not treat you (using it as a general term) with respect just because it seems like he cares. he will use and abuse everyone around him, including any romantic partners bc thats all he's known and is used to. and even after Borderland or the K◇, we all saw how fast he relapsed during the shootout; his ego is so fragile that after a minor inconvienence, something that hurts him, he will shut down and act selfishly all over again.
