my day's been pretty quiet i've been trying to watch elementary but the connection was screwy so i gave up and pulled out my copy of monsters inc instead and watched that :) It was fun I still know all the words and everything ahaha :) And someone who lives down the road needed help with her knitting so she popped in with her two kids for a visit and i fixed it for her :) And it rained a lot but my mum got me some new shoes so i can go outside and not get my feet soaked (the old ones had holes)

my parents used to have these friends, a married couple with a son about my and my sister’s age, and they used to bring us over to these friends’ place all the time and make us hang out with their son (which was cool, like we were buddies) but one night for whatever reason we were gonna put on like a dancing exhibition for the parents and so we went out there and danced around their living room and because i’m an attention-starved little asshole i tried to do like a handstand and flipped up on my hands in this tiny room and knocked a huge shelf full of cds off the wall. needless to say the dance party was over
