This wine bottle collection offers customers the opportunity to personalise their bottles with stickers, which creates an engaging and interactive experience. It's a clever way to divert attention from the product itself to a fun activity. This enhances customer engagement even before they taste the wine.
Just Laid
This brand employs simple yet memorable packaging with a brave and humorous approach. It resonates with the idea of using wit in branding to make customers smile. Among all the products mentioned, Just Laid stands out as the most memorable, which proves the effectiveness of humour in branding.
Food lines
I have looked at food line brands to gain an understanding of how consistency can be achieved throughout different packagings. The left example, achieves it through typography, despite using different colours for each product. This demonstrates how type can serve as a unifying visual element across a product line. The second brand uses flat figures of the product on each packaging to create visual cohesion while allowing for product differentiation. Kallo's approach to brand identity involves using various illustrations that correspond to the contents of each product. The abstract style creates a cohesive and visually appealing hierarchy across the product line.
Amber Shopping List
Although this packaging design uses an idea of a shipping list that names all the essentials you might need to get, it sparked an idea of crossing out bad ingredients that are typically used in upf products. I can apply this to ingredient lists or even use it in the logo if it becomes a part of my brand identity.
La Cantine
I liked this brand as it is sustainable and allows you to reuse the packaging. The use of paper sleeves adds an element of excitement to the packaging experience.

Paris Packaging Week 2025 – 28-29 January 2025
Easyfairs, the organizer of Paris Packaging Week, has announced the program for the January 2025 event to be held from 28 – 29 January 2025 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, France. Over two days, professionals from the beauty, luxury, premium beverage and aerosol packaging sectors will have the opportunity to discover exclusive insights and cutting-edge innovations. The conferences will be spread across four major areas – the Circular Economy Stage, the Future Innovation Forum, the Pentawards Festival Stage and the Global Aerosol & Dispensing Summit, each addressing the major challenges facing the sector.
Circular Economy Stage: Addressing the Challenges of Sustainability and Regulation
The Circular Economy Stage, sponsored by DOW, will explore the environmental and regulatory challenges facing the packaging industry. Two speakers will present opposing perspectives on the future of plastics – one advocating for the “deplasticization” of industries, the other highlighting the role and sustainable potential of plastics.
Also included will be a debate on the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), as well as a presentation from the Circular Economy Committee (CEC) on its roadmap to promote reuse in the beverage sector and the circular economy. Colgate-Palmolive, Unilever, Kering Beauty, EUROPEN, FEBEA and Citeo will share their perspectives on recyclability, regulation and innovation, providing a comprehensive overview of the sector.
Alexandra Ferré, director of Impact and CSR at Yves Rocher, who will participate in the round table "At the crossroads: Heritage, industrialization and the future of responsible cosmetic packaging", comments, "Today, the very concept of packaging, its usefulness, its role in relation to the product, its place in brand strategy and its different impacts, is at a crossroads. Battling with its heritage, navigating towards modernity, its path will necessarily take that of the ecological imperative. This round table will be an opportunity to explore these different paths, in particular that of collective transformation, where packaging reconciles creativity, sustainability and circularity."
Future Innovation Forum: The Future of Packaging Technologies
The Future Innovation Forum will shine a spotlight on the technologies and materials of the future. Highlights include a panel discussion on the power of color with Louis Marty of Merci Handy, followed by a keynote address by Gordon Pleyers on the impact of visual complexity on consumer perception. This conference room will also explore AI and its potential to revolutionize packaging, with industry experts and young talent. The Future Leaders 2025 panel will feature ten young innovators who will share their innovative ideas for the future of packaging.
Pentawards Festival Stage: Redefining Packaging Design
The Pentawards Festival Stage, hosted by global competition Pentawards, will focus on design, branding and consumer trends for the year ahead. Inspiring talks from speakers including Microsoft senior director of design Kevin Marshall on inclusive design, and discussions on sustainable design innovations from Haleon and Coca-Cola. Other highlights will include Diageo’s low-carbon design, Nestlé’s multi-sensory experiences, and branding strategies from Johnnie Walker and Carrefour.
Global Aerosol & Dispensing Summit: Innovating for Sustainability and Performance
The Global Aerosol & Dispensing Summit, in partnership with the European Aerosol Federation (EAF), will address sustainability and innovation issues in the aerosol industry. The program will include sessions on carbon-negative DME from non-recyclable plastic, the use of CO2 as a sustainable propellant, and developments in the European Commission’s sustainability policies. Leaders such as Henkel, Tata Steel and Suez will share their advances in environmental performance and responsibility.
Christelle Anya, director of Content and Community at Paris Packaging Week, said, “This year, we have enriched the program by focusing on topics that are both essential and timely. We look forward to discovering the discussions and offering a global vision of the future of packaging.”
Paris Packaging Week will also feature four major trade shows: ADF for aerosols, PCD for beauty, PLD for premium beverages, and Packaging Première for luxury. With over 840 exhibitors and many more speakers to be announced, this edition will be the largest of Paris Packaging Week to date.

Packaging design trends
To make sure my packaging design fits in contemporary practice, I have decided to look at what trends are being seen in 2024. I will use this research to develop my packaging designs.
One trend that jumps out is that designers are focusing more on the unboxing process of the packaging and how it impacts the environment (Foley, 2024). Therefore, by combining the instruction guide with the packaging, I am already following a trend the industry is currently exploring.
Another reoccurring trend is the use of minimal design by using only key information and silhouetted images to show the brands message or story (Foley, 2024). Based on this I have been inspired to look at how I can link the packaging design back to the craft itself. I will explore if I could use block printing to create a repeat pattern on the packaging or how I could use silhouettes to show Craeft's aim.
Reading the article from creative Bloq, I found it interesting on their point of using layering to create a collage style for bottle packaging (Foley, 2024). I am interested if this style could help to keep the craft style I have used for the website, by creating the illusion of photograph stuck on the page. Therefore, I will explore how I could incorporate the endangered stamp, information and other elements into the design using layers.

ایسکلار Isklar، یک نام تجاری آب معدنی طبیعی و گازدار است که توسط شرکت Isklar، در کشور نروژ بسته بندی میشود.
این آب معدنی برای اولین بار در اوایل سال 2008، در انگلستان راه اندازی شد.
آب معدنی ایسکلار از یخچال 6000 ساله Folgefonna، جمع آوری می شود.
این آب مستقیماً از چشمه زیر یخچال، Folgefonna برداشت می شود.
آب از سمت دره Sørfjord، مستقیم به کارخانه بطری سازی ایسکلار هدایت می شود.
در آنجا آب بلافاصله بدون قرار گرفتن در معرض محیط بیرون بسته بندی می شود.

شرکت ایسکلار Isklar، در منطقه هاردانگر Hardanger، کشور نروژ مستقر است.
کارخانه بطری سازی آب معدنی ایسکلار در منطقه Hordaland، واقع شده است.

We challenged ourselves to develop an innovative picnic sheet that is lightweight, waterproof, machine washable, stylish, portable, can be carried anywhere even by small kids, can be zipped together in any number of pieces to change its size, and the packaging is part of the product for environmental protection, so there is no need to add unnecessary packaging materials when giving as a gift.
In Japan, most picnic sheets that are easy to wash are thin and cause pain in the buttocks after sitting for a long time. And those that are light and easy to carry are often of poor quality and disposable plastics, which is not good for the environment.
This picnic sheet, developed together with a long-established curtain manufacturer, can be washed in a household washing machine and its color does not fade even if exposed to the sun. So it will last more than 10 years. The top sheet can also be used as a tablecloth, and can be rolled up to create a stylish visual. When you have more family members or a large picnic, you can zip several of these sheets together to create a spacious area with no sand or stones in between.
