I don’t celebrate thanksgiving, but I am incredibly thankful for my friend Fran @galacticidiots who’s clever, creative, witty, funny, and thoughtful, and who got hooked on Reylo faster than one would develop a cocaine addiction and gleefully, passionately, and self-indulgently clowns for it along with me. It’s good to have a friend equally, if not more, into something you like. Fran and I met through Bughead, and becoming friends there was FATE because it brought us here. 💕

26. What are you craving right now? I actually had a Pizza today, after dieting since the start of the year and now I feel incredibly gross. So I’m actually kind of craving the gym? Which is what I’m heading to first thing in the morning and I’m super excited! Are you seeing this, @reinhartmendes? Are you proud of me??

37. Is it easier to forgive or forget?Definitely forgive. I have forgiven quite a lot of things, because that’s just the kind of person I am. But I am also very... unforgetful? If you ever did me wrong, I might forgive you but I will definitely never forget. The same way I will never forget when I ever did someone wrong. It’s really not that great. 

57. Do you believe in true love?This is a really hard one. I have horrible examples, looking at my parents. Looking all around me, I can’t really say that I know anyone who really ever found true love. I like to say that there’s the one for you. But I don’t necessarily think that person is your “true love”, if that makes sense? Like I believe that soulmates exists, but they don’t necessarily have to be your significant other. And then I look at Lili and Cole and I keep thinking to myself ‘Is this what true love looks like? So really... I have no idea.

swaddled in a blanket, eating snacks, reading a really good book and having absolutely no one interrupt me!! making a really delicious and cozy meal. 

Ice-cream Cake: What is your go-to ice-cream order (toppings included!)?

I love ice cream so much it’s nearly impossible to answer this! Depends on where I’m going. I love any combo of chocolate and peanut butter. I love anything that’s basically pie in ice cream form. Last weekend I had a biscuits and peach jam ice cream that was AMAZING.

9. What are the best things about your current fandom?

I could write a novel. The incredible creators - of all kinds, across all facets of Riverdale fandom as a whole. We have such amazing fic, gifs, art, vids, edits - I am here for ALL this creativity. The hardworking members of the community that make this such a rich place to be with resource/source blogs. The flailers/cheerleaders that make me smile with their joy, wit, and pure excitement. At the end of the day, I love this fandom.

23. Name a fic you’ve written that you’re especially fond of & explain why you like it.

This is haaaard. Author questions like this - my greatest fear. Lol. Probably Beneath the Silver Moon Rising. I enjoyed where I got to in Jughead’s head. It’s one of the few times where at the end of it all I went… wow, I think I actually managed to do a good job with this.

31. What’s the nicest thing someone has ever said about your writing?

That’s a tough call. Really tough. @kovicjones, @shibbycat (who also leaves these AMAZING reviews, incredible) and @jane-hoppers have really been pulling me through recently (kicking and screaming) as I write, whenever I’ve written. @bugggghead @milkshakesandmurders @pennyroads @noorakardemmomesaetre and @juxtaposedmusings have been some really wonderful behind the scenes/in comments cheerleaders. @melton-my-heart and @i-know-you-can leave me regular really in depth, awesome reviews. @arsenicpanda once left me this rewiew… on Beneath the Silver Moon Rising and it legit made me cry. I’ve never received something like that. Everyone who reads and supports my work, however, really truly means so much. I’ve been a real anxious shit about responding to all the comments - but it’s my 2019 goals. Even the back logged ones, they mean the world.

are you named after anyone? uh, hard question. My name is the same as my Mom’s, but she always insisted that I wasn’t named after her. The thing is that I was named by my grandma and she named me that because she liked the name, I think.

when was the last time you cried? somewhen in January. 

do you have any kids? nope, just a 4yo sis.

do you use sarcasm a lot? yeah, too much, I sometimes think

what’s the first thing you notice about people? their facial expression

eye colour? chameleons! green, grey or blue, depends on my surroundings.

scary movie or happy ending? definitely a happy ending! However unrealistic it might be.

any special talent? not sure if it’s very special, but I tend to think I make very lovely and tasty cakes and desserts. Also, I like cooking anything sweet or salty.

where were you born? the proud city of Sevastopol!

hobbies? baking, writing a bit, thinking a lot...

do you have any pets? yes! a cute little turtle.

Comedic memoirs, preferably by women I adore. 

17: If you owned a bookshop what would you call it?

Damn, that’s difficult. It’d be a real bad pun, that’s for sure. Can’t think of one right now but yeah. :D

22: Pro or anti e-readers? Why?

Pro, because it’s so convenient for multiple reasons. I can read fic on them as well, I can carry a shit ton of books with me and it doesn’t weigh anything, I can read it at the pool bc my kindle is waterproof. Trust me, moving with many books is no fun. But I still love reading a real book. The feel and smell of it. I will buy the physical copy of a book when it’s a book I love! Nothing can really compare to that.

I'm sorry for hyjacking your post, Liz, but I wanted to add something.

Because honestly, the calmest and most aesthetically pleasing blog I follow is truly @pennyroads. I like scrolling through her blog and see nothing but aesthetic, warmth, positivity and happiness. Also, if she's kind enough to let you follow her Instagram, do that right away. Her posts, comments and photography is beyond stunning and truly calms me down. I scroll through her feed on a daily, not even kidding.

So if you need to find some piece on this sometimes very cruel and anxious hellsite, Fran is the perfect person to follow because she always has the most positive and uplifting things to say.

Hi! I've been feeling down lately and I wanted to ask what are your go-to things you engage yourself with or what does lift up your mood? Thanks already for your answer!

Ooh, right now? I stalk @pennyroads and her immaculately curated blog. Haha.

Really not kidding though - I went on a spate of following beautiful aesthetic/pale/poetry blogs because those things calm me down. There’s nothing that quiets the storms in me like looking at details of a 16th century French castle.

I guess the lesson in that is buy-in. I identify what makes me feel calm and joyful and I buy into it. Some days it’s Queer Eye. Some days it’s John Mulaney. Some days it’s re-reading a really good fic. Recently it was RuPaul’s Drag Race. I think it depends on the day, anon!

I know I’ve been harping on and on about Lainey Gossip recently, but she’s recently been promoting the idea of entertainment self-care by recommending “super soft” TV that doesn’t require much emotional investment (unlike, say, Riverdale or GoT) but is still valuable and well-made. I think we definitely need to practice self-care in our entertainment. It’s something I’m trying to do for myself.

When an unfortunate accident puts the breaks on their scenic drive, Betty and Jughead find themselves stuck waiting for help. 

The car won’t be the only thing getting serviced.

“Well... fuck,” Betty mutters before speaking up over the beat of rain on metal, “we’re going to have to wait it out or call for roadside assistance.” 

A minute passes without a response from Jughead. She turns her head to find him staring with rapt focus, his eyes glued to her chest. His beanie is sodden, and his curls lay flat across his forehead, the water making a slow trek down his brow. A single drop clings to his bottom lip, and his tongue reaches out, swiping it away.

The long spikes of his eyelashes, the pink of his lips and tongue - she’s entranced by the moisture on Jughead’s skin, the same way he’s captivated by the damp fabric clinging to hers. Her breasts ache, heavy with the intensity of his attention. 

Of all the days to not wear a bra under her t-shirt.
