Through ships, under ships, over ships, underwater, upside down, slamming into coastlines and rocks, backwards and spinning out of control and with whole ends of the ship right underwater while the crew toiled on unconcerned...one fellow poor bastard said he'd managed to hit 88 knots while making absolutely no forward progress at all.

10/10 would recommend, funniest shit I have ever seen in my life

Never mind the fact that the barrel of her gun was directed toward the other, brows knitted in some fascination to the stalwart demeanor of a most unfortunate individual. Be not worried of this woman’s well-being, however. She’s not under fire, she’s not being considered a newly found target whose life would belong to the bullet awaiting blood within the chamber. Believe it only as precaution when she’d entered the grounds of the campsite were it that reaction time would serve her well in the dispatching of whatever threat may have come. “ Well.. perhaps we can help each other, then.” 

          Be it then that her weapon is lowered && holstered respectfully into appropriate scabbard. Chestnut gaze never once relieves itself of placement upon the woman before her—one could never be too careful—whilst maneuvering in counterclockwise shift all the while. Musing begets the huff of amusement && the index of left digit that tips over a beer bottle long since emptied from nights of revel && carelessness. It tips over the barrel it was perched atop only to shatter against a rock embedded into soil below. Just at her boot, nudged shortly thereafter. “You work closely with them, therefore you know whether they have intel on the valley to the east.” Her gaze flits from mountain range yonder only to return to the other. The mind wonders momentarily to the amulet of mysticism she sought out. “Or perhaps you’d prefer to retain that string of bad luck.”

Even as the other woman moves counterclockwise from her, Fang doesn't budge a single muscle. Instead, she opted to silently watch as that bottle was tipped over the barrel, and the resounding smashing sound as it hit the ground reverberated through the empty campsite. "The valley to the east, eh?" She repeated out loud, while retracting a hand from her pocket to scratch at her neck while in thought for a moment. Normally she wasn't one to back-stab an employer, but if helping this woman could also help herself in the long run it'd be worth it— provided they didn't get caught.

The mercenary eyed the other woman briefly, then scanned the perimeter of the campsite to make sure none of her former comrades were about to walk in on what was about to go down. "Alright, look—" Finally speaking up, her other hand slowly out of her pocket as if to show off she was still unarmed, and wasn't about to attempt anything. "—There's a map in the main tent, along with a ton of notes and pictures of this valley. Thing is I personally can't make heads or tails or it, hence me havin' to rely on workin' with these idiots." As she spoke, a slight head motion pointed towards the bigger tent on the far side of the camp. "If you can make some sense of what's there, you can take it. I don't really care, as long as you let me go with you."

          “Seriously? You gotta be freakin’ kidding me!” They’d only just arrived & Lara was already tossing herself from cliffs like FUCKING IRON-MAN. (He was the one in the red & blue with the, like, webs, right? -- Emily didn’t watch superhero movies). WHATEVER! It wasn’t important! All that mattered was the other woman speeding ahead & leaving her behind in her dust. This was supposed to be THEIR adventure. (Or something). “I’ll have you know, danger is my middle fucking name.” Scrawny brunette leaned over the edge of the cliff & stared down at the imminent DEATH BELOW. Oh, boy! Heart jumped directly into her throat & she felt her body stiffen in fear. Luckily, she had the cocky bitch egging her on & that meant her PRIDE would take a hit if she didn’t DO IT. Sad truth was, Emily would rather die than look WEAK & PATHETIC. “Keep it in your pants, you weirdo. Not everyone's an adrenaline-junkie. Some of us just like to shop, and drink, and be NORMAL!” Shifting her weight, she readied herself for the leap & counted to three out loud, pepping herself up, “You got this, Em. One. Two. Three.” With that, she LUNGED OFF the edge (with far less grace) & instinctively shot hands out to catch herself on the same rock Lara was now perched upon. IT HURT. “Fuck meeeee! I think I broke a nail!”

   The befuddlement and concern on Riley’s face was, for once, not manufactured. Her eyes slipped from boots to woman, back to boots, and then, shaking her head, back to her laptop. “I don’t control the weather, Miss Croft. If you’re lookin’ for sympathy, this is a weird way to ask for it.” She didn’t know much about this aggressive anthropology fad, but something in the back of the cambion’s mind suggested that leather wasn’t the best choice in the first place for rainforest traversal. Whatever taxi that rode too close to the curb and splashed her might’ve done Lara a favor.
