For April Fool's day the GearStation Poketube starts like normal except it's being run by a sneasel in a tiny gear station uniform. Not even dubbed over, just the sneasel going "Snee Snee Snee SNEE sneasel Snee!" like it's been doing this the whole time. In the background you see two sneasels (hisuin and johto) in Ingo and Emmets uniforms being carried around by Lady Sneasler in her own total uniform (jacket included!). The chat is losing it's mind and half the comments are just "SNEE!"
That’s the entire live stream for the day. Just depot workers following the Sneasel Staff and Lady Sneasler. They even do battles on the subway, just the Sneaslers. Ingo and Emmet and the Depot Workers take orders from the Sneasels and Lady Sneasler. No one acts any different.
Everyone is losing their minds. It’s the highest viewed video on the whole PokeTube site for a while.

your ocs suck that's why you don't get people talking about them not because someone thinks their OC is better
Are you the fucker who voted that my OCs sucked and proved you had ZERO taste in characterizations on the poll?
Tumblr media
I literally don't care if you do or don't like my OCs, because this isn't just about my OCs.
It's about the inadequate feeling that certain OC Creators give others because they feel superior to others and that they are the only ones who can write Canon characters based off of their own OC x Canon ship. It's also about shoving other people's OCs out of the so-called 'safe' spaces for creators in fandoms.
It's also about the fact that because of how popular XYZ's OCs get, suddenly their 'fans' think that everyone in the fandom just has to know and adhere to that fan-canon the creator has made.
If I say "I Headcanon Wolffe as AroAce" that directly goes against a number of people's OWN interpretations of Wolffe and the OC x Wolffe ships they make. If someone says "I ship my OC with Kit Fisto" that goes against my interpretation of Kit Fisto.
Do you know what we don't need to do in these situations? Call someone wrong for not thinking the same way about characters.
Every single person in fandom has their own, further interpretation of Canon and the Content that's canon once the baseline is established— and, news flash, no one's OCs are part of that baseline.

Okay but Clay being sent to Hisui is hilarious. Yeah Lian’s his great grandpa, but’s he’s also like 10. And oh shit is that Ingo! Wow it’s real nice having a familiar face around :) Oh does this mean Emmet’s around too? What? He doesn’t know who Emmet is?? That ain’t right, not at all.
Dont worry, it doesnt get to Clay that ingo has no idea who emmet is because a good ol' Southern Cowboy BACK SLAP will knock the memories right back into Ingo
Now they just gotta bully Palkia and Dialga into bringing them home (and maybe Clay'll steal some Black Augurite to bring back too)
In seriousness, I do think even if Ingo didn't remember, it would help to have a familiar face and familiar mannerisms (and a Familiar pokemon, because I'm not leaving poor Excadrill in the mines) for the both of them. I think Ingo would slowly get more memories back, or at least get some familiarity with Clay bringing up old stories, helping through some things, and just generally being nearby. I sorta picture Clay as a decent friend of the Twins and Elesa (if not seeing the two as Nephews he never had), just because their cities are close and the twins and Clay both have a love and care for the tunnels (Iirc, in PokeMas, they recruited Clay to help build a subway anyways, so theres that too).
Clay and Lian might be wary of one another for a while (dont want to cause any breaks in the timeline) but then start to slowly interact. It definitely helps if they don't think about each other as future/past relatives and more of current relatives. Lian can pretend that Clay is some uncle from far away and Clay can act like Lian is another nephew he never had.
Clay is very careful and attentive to Ingo during this time, I would think, watching out for him and making sure he's all good in the meanwhile. Lord knows that the man's already probably jacked from working in the mines (pickaxes are HEAVY as hell imo but im also like. noodlely.) as hell, so he just gets stronger. Strong enough to punch Volo out for good.

GearStation PokéTube and the only video completely featuring Ingo and Emmet is a 1:34 minute long video of one of them pranking the other and the video stops just as they start getting chased.
It's Emmet. The video cuts off just as Ingo starts chasing Emmet and you hear a scream

First Uncle Drayden and now Uncle Clay. Then there’s also Elesa, Iris via Drayden, and Clian (and thus his brothers). The SubMas twins are slowly accumulating family-not-family relations and becoming more and more powerful through their relationships and also these fists /jk
Look if Em aint gonna fight Arceus and/or Volo, then Clay and Drayden will do it with Elesa and all three will be back in the right timeline for the family dinner

your temple guard au is awesome mainly because we get to see the guards not only being allowed to be badshit feral but also be the complete and utter badasses they should be. i wanna know more
I meant to answer this earlier lmao
Anyways!! thank you!! I'm glad you liked the AU! I've decided to call it the Order of Defense AU now, and it includes a few other non-guard Jedi who have agreed to walk the path of the Necessary Monster with the Guard and Cin, but not the same path of the Guard. Just because I needed a few more hands on deck and a Councilor’s backing.
In my universe. the Jedi Temple Guard are essentially taught stealth-arts in order to blend into the Temple and go unnoticed in order to further obscure the numbers and identities within the Guard.
These arts include being able to almost completely silence their steps and the noises that people make naturally as they walk, or even run, and even conceal their Force signature so that it blends in with the general Temple's feeling.
Because of this, they are the least remembered group in the Order. Yes, Jedi know there is a Temple Guard, but it's not like the Jedi are constantly looking and spotting the Guard. They sorta just... fade until they need to be noticed.
(more under the Cut)
This, along with the fact that by principle, the Jedi Temple Guard are almost a separate entity from the rest of the Order— as by joining the Jedi Temple Guard you surrender your known identity and are no longer known to the Main Order to the point where these Jedi are considered to be dead by the others— allows for the Guard to train in absolute secrecy within the Guard Hall.
This fact is only known by three parties outside of the Guard: the Head of the Guard, the Head of Security (which, at this point in time, are the same as Cin Drallig holds both positions), and the rest of the Order of Defense— the other Jedi who follow the same path of necessary monsters, but do not follow the Guard's path.
(Jedi like Serra Keto and the late Master Tyvokka, along with a number of my own OCs)
In general, the Role of the Jedi Temple Guard is to protect the Jedi Order. The original Oaths stated to do as such no matter the cost, even if it means breaking the oath of identity or death. Over time this has changed to allow leeway during times of war on the Temple— when the Jedi Guard don white and beige, the Ivory Masks laced with Gold are their faces, but when the Guard no longer don their masks and their faces are seen by the Order, it is only because they have entered battle and will not dishonor their enemies by not allowing them to know the face of their death.
The Jedi Temple Guard, in this form of the Necessary Monster, will have more than just their lightsabers to subdue their opponents— they will use their own hands, or various weaponry hidden on their person. The Jedi Temple Guard hidden in the spires and high outcroppings of the Temple will no longer set their blasters to stun and shoot with deadly accuracy, and the Guard's Hound will no longer hold back his teeth nor flame.
While the Jedi do not endeavor to kill, some question on if this Order of Defense is really to code, but in truth what they do could be considered Self Defense, after all— for it is an Order that is a sleeping giant within the Jedi, only waking if the Temple and those within it are attacked.
But they are not limited to just external threats, from the very beginning, they are trained and have created countermeasures in order to take any other Jedi out if they threaten or harm the Jedi Order— including one another.
But that doesn't let stop them from being a close-knit unit, the Jedi Temple Guard are, after all, a family of sorts.

It would be funny if it was in Hisui, and Emmet finally, somehow reached his brother after dragging himself through space and time, just to be attacked by said sibling, slashed by a very protective Gliscor. Ingo, himself, is very confused when the illusion does not fade, and instead, the man with his face is now bleeding and oh- oh no. Haha Ingo seriously injuring his brother on accident.
It’s a bit of a mirror of how I imagine Ingo was like when he first arrived. A man lost in time, attacked by a mirror image of him as he’s reaching out for them, with their blood a bright red against the stark white of us icelands…
Only this time, it’s not a Zoroark, it’s real

consider: emmet ALSO being unable to believe it’s really ingo if he ever saw him for a whole variety of factors (unovan zorua/zoroark, ditto, maybe even grief-induced hallucinations). they’re both right in front of each other, and yet they refuse to even consider that it’s really their other half
I think the only way they’d believe it wasn’t another Pokémon was if they actually just fist fought in the snow. Or in the subway. Depending on where they are.
A fight that is so fucking draining for the both of them. For Ingo, he’s angry, he has no memories. He wants the Zoroark to stop taunting him with a memory he cannot place. For emmet, he’s breaking, snapping, loosing grip on himself out of both grief and anger. This is a verrrry bad joke that is being played on him.
It might be healthy for them to fight it out themselves, really.
Something about refusing reality right until it hits you in the face

121: “Why are you in my bed?”, for Plo and Kit please? 💚
Sure thing <3
121: “Why are you in my bed?”
Characters: Plo Koon, Kit Fisto (Ship)
AO3
Dialogue Prompt List
In the past, Plo Koon’s normal routine upon arriving back on Coruscant would be to deliver the mission report— be it good or bad— then retire elsewhere for a time of meditation or to observe the initiates or padawans, among other things that required little action on his end, or, if it was late enough, retire for the night entirely.
The Force had not been kind to him today, however.
With the war going on, the return of the 104th Battalion and himself to Coruscant meant a number of new things were to be added to his routine. Ordinarily, that wouldn’t have been a problem— going over general supplies that were needed and sending an order report form for that was no trouble, and making sure that the boys were all in working order or getting the assistance they needed wasn’t anything overly time-consuming. Commander Wolffe kept the rest of the boys in line, after all.
(His commander and son had waved him off with a halfhearted grumble last time Plo had asked about how he managed to do so.)
What had been was the Meeting between the Council and the Division Heads— The Jedi Order was not run only by the Council, after all.
It wasn’t a major meeting, or rather, it wasn’t supposed to be— it wasn’t a full Council, and about half the division heads weren’t present. And even if it had been supposed to be a major meeting, little would have gotten done anyway.
Not with Cin Drallig and Vokara Che barely paying attention as they checked their comms and answered messages from the instructors and healers respectively, not with Jocasta Nu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ki Adi Mundi arguing about the state of the War, and certainly not with the head of the Agricorp and the Grandmaster getting into a rather heated negotiation about supply costs.
No, Plo doubted that much would have gotten done even if all members of the Divisions and Council had been there.
In fact, even less would have and he was certain that if Mace Windu had hair left, it would’ve been ripped out in frustration.
That said, by the time they had been dismissed from the meeting, Plo was almost glad to turn down Master Rancisis’ invite for tea and a game of Dejarik. And at the same time, the other Master seemed almost relieved that he had done so.
His walk to his quarters had been undisturbed after that— to which, he thanked both the Force and the Spirits above for— and by the time he did reach the door, a part of him felt strangely exhausted.
A quick read of his force signature opened the doors— he didn’t bother with the keypad anymore, it had been nearly four hundred years, after all— and he stepped in without a word. A hiss of a sigh escaped him and out through his mask.
The damn thing had been highly uncomfortable all day.
Another sigh left him as he carefully removed his boots and external robe.
Logic dictated that he should eat something, he was nearing the end of the sustainability period after a full meal, after all— but logic hardly mattered to him anymore.
He was exhausted and no amount of food would fix that. And besides, he could eat in the morning. The 104th had time off until the next mission.
And both Sha and his Uncle were in the Temple— he could certainly take time to catch a meal with the both of them. It had been a long time since, after all.
Plo Koon’s musings were cut short, however, upon realizing that there was an extra set of boots by the door. Ones that weren’t his.
It took a moment to run through all possibilities on who the boots could belong to before the familiarity set in.
Ah.
That explained why there was a severe lack of noise in the Council Chambers earlier.
Kit had skipped out on the meeting.
The lack of a full Council could have been explained away with Councilors being busy on the field, though if Kit was here that just meant that he had skipped.
Not that Plo really could blame him.
Like Vokara and Cin, Plo found that only half-full meetings between the Councils and Divisions were rather pointless.
With a shake of his head, the Kel Dor Master extended his senses through the Force, easily locating where his fellow Master and Partner was. He moved through the main sitting area of his quarters silently, making his way to the bedroom.
Sure enough, revered Nautolan Master Kit Fisto was lying sprawled across the bed, scrolling through a thread on his datapad. The blue light of the screen illuminated the room, but otherwise, the light was off.
Plo leaned against the doorframe, smiling slightly. “Pray tell,” he started. “Why are you in my bed?”
The Nautolan’s ahwey perked and he turned his head, looking over at him before a sharp-toothed grin crossed his face.
“Waitin’ for you to get back," was all he said and Plo let out a soft huff of amusement, flicking the light on before crossing over to the closet. Out of the corner of his eye he watched as Kit went back to reading whatever had caught his interest while he changed.
As much as he did find his normal attire comfortable— and it had been altered and designed by him to be as such— it was nice to be out of the robes and into looser clothes.
“How did the meeting go?” Kit asked as Plo walked back over to the bed. A quick flick of the fingers drew his anti-ox collar from the bedside table via the Force.
He hummed a bit. “It was fine, none of us really wanted to be there, except for the Grandmaster it seemed,” he replied as he unclasped the collar. “Your lineage brother and Master Che seemed to be seeing who was getting the most messages the entire time from their respective divisions.”
Kit snorted out a laugh at that.
“Cin never did like meetings like that.,” Kit mused. And that was an understatement
The Nautolan knew as well as Plo did— and most Jedi— that Cin Drallig did not enjoy being pulled away for what he deemed frivolous things.
Meetings that were of no Major importance and only used for updating the other Division Heads and Councilors fell under that category for him— after all, Plo also knew that the Battlemaster knew most of what was already going on in every corner of the Temple by way of the Guard and gossip.
“He seemed rather put out when he first arrived, yes,” Plo mused before he began to process of connecting the ports in his throat to the collar. He closed the clasp after he was done, resting at the base of his neck, before he took a few breaths. The filters were in working order, air was going through the collar and not his mask.
Ordinarily, Plo would simply activate his own atmosphere. But, that had been a time before moments with Kit had become rare and in-between.
Still, the relief when he removed his mask was instant.
Kel Dor were not made for wearing their masks for longer than a few weeks at a time. Not comfortably at least. There was always a pull on the skin, a feeling of it being too tight, too restrictive.
Plo rested his mask on the table before falling back against Kit, who just laughed a bit and waved a hand lazily. The lights shut off again and Plo settled back, resting his head against Kit’s and relaxed.
Sleep found him not too long after.
the word ahwey comes from @shadowmaat

kiwi i would be utterly delighted to learn about how the order is in the kiwiki verse; especially the areas that are neglected in canon
Of course!
In the Kiwiki the Jedi are divided into four class groups rather than three:
Guardians are the Warrior Class, they are made up of Jedi who prefers to be out on battlefields or hone their fighting skills in the more traditional way. Jedi Aces or the Ace Pilots of the Jedi are also in this group. It is not to say that they are warmongers, however, they just prefer to be out with their feet on the ground and hands in the nitty gritty, so to speak. Think along the lines of Anakin Skywalker, Agen Kolar, or Ahsoka Tano— but also Saesee Tiin
Consulars are the Political Class, so to speak. Where Guardians fight, the Consulars take time to find negotiations, they are the political liaisons and diplomats, along with seers and researchers. They understand how politics work and use it to their advantage. On top of that, the Healers also fall into this division with Lore-Keepers and archivists. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Kit Fisto, Eeth Koth, and Jocasta Nu are the ones you think of, but also Vokara Che, and Adi Gallia.
Sentinels are the rather unorthodox division, and while they are often seen as the balance between the Guardians and Consulars, they are much more than that. Divisions such as The Shadows, Instructors, Watchmen, Seekers, Culinary Jedi, Investigators, and artisans fall into this group. They are both distinctive yet blend into the other classes and don't stick strictly to the traditions of the Order. This division has more acceptance of non-force techniques and non-traditional jedi skills. Think Quinlan Vos, Tholme, Terra Sinube, Micah Giett, and even Plo Koon.
The Guard is solely made up of the Jedi Temple Guard and their Sibling branches (such as the Guard at Lola Sayu or at other Temples, though these branches grew more or less dilapidated and returned to the main body as the Order drew itself closer into Coruscant). The Peace Keepers and Gate Keepers are also associated with this class, but it should be known that they are technically Sentinels.
Think of the four classes as such: In the case of a locked door, the Guardian will try and break it down, the Consular will try and negotiate with the person who locked the door, the sentinels will pick the lock, and the Guard is on the other side holding the door closed (lol)
Within these Class Categories, there are other Divisions/jobs that the Jedi can do. I sort of stated it before when listing examples, such as the Ace Starfighter Pilots, the Healers, and Investigators.
(More below but this is getting a bit long lol)
Within each of these divisions are smaller departments that are created based on specialty— for example, the various artisan groups, research groups, combat vs academic instructors, the various classes of healers, archivists who are more into research and logging vs those who prefer writing and creating, and so on.
Each department has a department Head, and then each division has a head picked from these department heads. In the Kiwiki, Cin Drallig heads both the Instructors and Jedi Temple Guard, but Anoon Bondara (before his death) was the Department head for the Combat Instructors. Similarly, Coleman Kcaj is both the Division head of the Artisans and the Department Head of the textile workers, Jocasta Nu heads the Archive Division and the Lore-keeping department, and Vokara Che is head of the Halls of Healing and the General Department of Healers, but OCs of mine— Altha, Nix Mora, and Bruce Rion— head the Mind Healer, Pediatrician, and Surgical departments. And so on and so forth.
(I'll talk about the Guard in a second)
Unfortunately, after the High Republic Era ended (roughly 82 BBY), the various Divisions began to fall to the wayside. On a traditional level, the Jedi Initiates were still offered many choices to choose from and Jedi Masters and Knights in those divisions would gladly train the initates who were interested in joining their divisions, but the equal power that Division heads had in decision-making slowly wained.
For example, the Councils would often make decisions and the Divisions would only learn of them after instead of being there in person. While the Division heads did not expect to be there for every bit of news and meeting, major events and news to be broken had the input of Division Heads in the past.
When the War ends in 18 BBY (Kiwiki'Verse), many of the Division Heads start putting pressure on the Councils for things to return to the pre-end of the high republic balance— this certainly did happen, especially with the reconstruction of the High Council as well.
In terms of the Jedi Temple Guard, there is a bit of a divide as the Jedi Temple Guard are the only Division to not accept Padawans into their ranks. You are either Knighted upon entering the Guard or have been Knighted previously. This is because the training within the Guard's ranks is rather brutal and Children are seen as too young to deal with that. Both mentally and physically.
The Guard also has its own structure and departments: General Guard, Night Guard, Lower Level Patrol, Political Guard, Healers, Ventilation Patrol, Sniper Corp, Trainers, and the Investigations
The General Guard is where you fall if you don't think you can fit into any of the other groups
the Night Guard primarily works for the Nocturnal Shift
The Lower Level Patrol deals with the lowest levels of the Jedi Temple
The Political Guard mostly goes with other Jedi to the Senate or acts as Jedi Escorts with Political Liaisons. They also transfer dangerous criminals— think when the guard brought Barriss in
The ventilations patrol patrols the vent systems in the temple. They were either all on strike because they don't get paid or cad bane killed the patrol during the holocron heist. one of the two.
The Sniper Corp is the least known branch of the Guard and are stationed along the top of the temple in hidden places. They keep watch for threats from the outside and act as cover and ranged fighters if the Temple is attacked externally (ie: operation Knightfall)
Trainers are some of the oldest and who train the newer guard in how the guard functions and works.
Investigators keep tabs on holo-cams and act as shadow informants between the main temple and the shadows.
All of the Guard within the division branches will jump around as needed and all are assigned to general patrols, front guard, and so on. It's like a miniature version of the main Order.
Anyways, There's a lot more that is just drifting in my brain, but that's the main gist of it.
TLDR: There are Classes -> Divisions -> Departments (based on Speciality) but there's definitely overlap and sticking with just one department, division, or even Class is not required— it's actually highly encouraged to learn under a number of departments at least. If you can crossover through Divisions and even Classes, all the better!
