When @mindykaling asks for board book suggestions, #bookstagram delivers. I love Mindy (I've read all her books and watched all her shows) and I love these baby books from @workmanpub (who I am in no way collaborating with), so I would be thrilled to be able to recommend these books to her. I know they are not board books, but they are soooooooo much better. They're called Indestructibles and have paper thin pages (which babies love ❤️) but are waterproof, rip proof, washable, and non toxic! So your baby can chew on them all they want. And they have the most beautiful colourful illustrations. They are lightweight and thin so you can shove a bunch in your diaper bag. I find this book hard. It requires so much of me. I have to make up a story each time! (Am I just the laziest?) I've often resorted to just describing the pictures. Also, kind of take offense to the "dopy zookeeper" portrayal. Fact wise: this is the tiniest gorilla there has even been. Unless this is a baby gorilla. Which would be kind of sad because then where are it's parents. All the animals are actually out of porportion something crazy. The gorilla is the worst one though. Especially since he is the title character. #kidlitfactcheck
