Matching lingerie from different sets

For the first time since I’ve been following Agent Provocateur (it’s been about a decade at this point), I have never seen them mix sets. I was happy to see this because I love matching different sets ♡ Here are some tips to get started.

Match your neutrals. This is the easiest way to start. You can start with the same colour and material type, such as nude cottons. From there you can try playing with texture, a black satin bra with a black mesh bottom or mixing a neutral piece with a colour piece.

Match sets in different colours. Sometimes there’s a sale and you can’t find a matching set but you can complete a set if you’re willing to use different colours. I actually haven’t done this myself, but here’s a great example using yellow and black pieces from Agent Provocateur’s Anna.

Match creative colourways for solids. This is a variation of the concept above. Colour blocking generally works best if you stick to simple designs or match designs that look similar. But feel free to get creative! If this seems daunting, start with more muted colours and move up to brights.

Match different designs that share a colour. This is where you can get really playful. To start off, strappy tops and bottoms in the same colour are very easy to pair. Switching up the garter belt of a set is also easy to do. But you can test your creativity to find more unexpected combinations.
