The sun was beginning to set in Barcelona, dyeing the sky with orange and pink hues. The city was alive, but inside Pedri's apartment, all that mattered was the comfortable silence between the two of you. He was there, sprawled on the couch, one hand resting on your thigh while the other absently played with a lock of your hair.

— It's been a while since we had a moment alone... — he murmured, his voice hoarse, his brown eyes fixed on hers.

You smiled, sliding your hand down his chest.

— That’s right. There’s always some event or games…

Pedri chuckled softly, leaning in to capture your lips with his. The kiss started softly, but soon intensified, his firm hand gripping your waist, pulling you closer. Your bodies adjusted naturally, and the heat that formed between you was unmistakable.

That's when his phone started ringing. Loudly. Insistent.

Pedri groaned in frustration, throwing his head back.

"I don't believe."

He ignored the call and went back to kissing you, but seconds later, the phone rang again.

“Better answer it,” you said, laughing at the irritation on his face.

He picked up his cell phone and answered without even looking at the caller ID.

“What is it?” he grumbled.

It was Gavi.

“Bro, can you tell me where my black boots are? You borrowed them last week!”

Pedri closed his eyes, taking a deep breath to calm himself.

“Gavi, do you have any idea what time it is?”

“Yes, I do. That’s why I’m calling. There’s training tomorrow.”

“It’s in the hall closet. Now stop calling me.”

He hung up before his friend could respond and threw the phone away.

“Okay, problem solved. Now, where were we again?”

You laughed and pulled him into another kiss, this time more intense, his hands sliding over your skin in a way that made your entire body shiver. He leaned over you, his knee gently pressing against your leg, and you were about to finally lose yourself in each other when…

TOC, TOC, TOC!

The two were startled by the knock on the door.

Pedri closed his eyes, letting out a long sigh.

“If it’s Gavi again, I’ll kill him.”

He stood up, clearly irritated, and went to open the door. It was his brother.

“Fer, this is not possible now!”

“Relax, bro. I just came to get my headphones that I left here yesterday.”

Pedri practically pushed his brother out of the apartment and slammed the door. When he returned to the couch, his gaze was determined.

“I do not accept that the universe wins.”

“Me neither,” you agreed, pulling him by the collar of his shirt.

This time, you decided not to give him any more chances to interrupt. He gently cupped your face and deepened the kiss, his hands exploring every inch of you. You fit perfectly against him, his skin feeling warm under your fingers, and everything finally seemed to be going in the right direction…

But then…

The loud sound of the doorbell made you both jump on the couch.

Pedri stared at the door, his eyes shining with fury.

“If it’s Gavi or Fer, I swear…”

He opened the door with a jerk, and you were both taken by surprise. It was a delivery man.

“Request for Pedro Gonzalez?”

Pedri frowned.

“I didn’t ask for anything.”

The delivery man looked at the name on the paper and then at him.

“Oh, it was your brother. It’s in his name, but this is your address.”

Pedri ran his hands over his face.

“I'm going to kill Fer.”

After taking the order and closing the door tightly, he walked back to you.

“Forget the universe. I don’t care anymore.”

You laughed and pulled him back, deciding that this time, nothing else could get in the way.

And finally, the universe gave up on being against you.

Three years ago,

It had been a few days since you had given birth to your beautiful baby girl, Mara. As soon as Pedri laid his eyes on her and held him in his arms he said, “She’s mine. She’s all mine” and you couldn’t help but smile. He had been excited for this baby the whole nine months through, helping you through the entirety of the pregnancy. Even though he won’t admit it, you swear he started crying when you revealed it to him.

Months later, Mara began to babble, saying things in her baby language only she could understand. Then her first word came; Papi. Another moment that Pedri refuses to admit made him shed a tear.

Once she started to walk, she followed Pedri everywhere. If he went to the bathroom, she would stand outside the door and wait for him. He wanted to cook? Okay, so did Mara. She was a daddy’s girl through and through, begging mommy to take her to his matches. And you would, wearing a jersey that was a little too big for her with her daddy’s name on the back and pigtails in her hair.

A year later,

Mara had begun speaking in full sentences. It was kind of broken, but she still tried her best. She had grown to be friends with Raphinha’s son, Gael. While the two kids hung out, Pedri and Rapha did too. You would stay and talk to Raphinha’s wife, Taia, and both of your families would sometimes go out together as one.

You remember one night Mara was a year and a half years old and you and Pedri were having a quiet argument while she slept. Your voices began to raise from just above a whisper, waking your baby.

“Mamá, papi, are you okay?” She asked, an innocent tone in her voice. She had inherited Pedri’s big brown eyes, which just added onto the softness of it all. Naive Mara was, not yet having the capability to pick up on things.

“Everything’s okay, nena. Come here,” Pedri answered for the two of you, Mara climbing into bed with the two of you, your small family falling asleep together.

A year after that,

Pedri and you decided it was time for Mara to have a friend at home, thus became the idea of ‘Nilo.’ Nilo was not one specific dog yet, but the two of you decided together that that was going to be its name. You decided to surprise your baby for her second birthday, and excited was an understatement.

“It’s a puppy!” She exclaimed as she chased Nilo around, petting him repeatedly once she reached him.

You caught Pedri smiling at his baby and his new dog. “He’s all yours, nena.”

The four of you would now go on trips together, one being the zoo. Mara was now fully walking and you and Pedri had taught her to hold him on a leash.

She would walk him around and show him the animals, pointing at one and saying, “Look Nilo!”

The ones she couldn’t see at her height she would whine and her papi would pick her up. She would gasp and say, “Mamá! Look!” And point out the color of the animal.

The next year,

There was a home match in Barcelona and Mara hadn’t been to one in a while. This time, you went with Gael and Taia, the children wearing customized jerseys with their own names on them while you and Taia represented your husbands.

At this game in particular, Pedri scored with Rapha’s assist. Although the kids didn’t quite understand it much, they still celebrated their fathers’ goal and assist together.

Instead of his signature celebration, Pedri decided he was going to dedicate his goal to his girls; you and Mara.

"Pedro I don't feel like going out tonight, just drop it" y/n rolled her eyes.

They were at their parents' house, and Pedri got a call from one of his friends that they're going out for some drinks

Fernando walked into the room, rolling his eyes at the twins that always seem to be fighting

"what is it now?" he asked

"Gavi called me and told me they're going out for some drinks. y/n won't agree on coming with me" Pedri said, making y/n huff.

"who's gonna be there?" Fer asked, making y/n look at him suspiciously

"well Gavi and Ferran for sure, probably Fermin and Felix too. I'm pretty sure Raphinha is bringing his wife with him, so y/n should go too" he whined

Fernando looked at y/n with a knowing look when Pedri said Ferran's name, y/n's eyes widened while she shook her head quickly at Fernando.

"she'll go. get up" he pulled her on her feet, while Pedri smiled. y/n groaned and followed Fernando to her room.

"why did you do that? I don't feeling like talking to anyone today" she said annoyed.

"this is your chance to get closer to Ferran without it being too suspicious to Pedri" he said, opening the closet she had and looking for something she can wear

"who even told you that I want to become close with him" she lied, knowing that's the thing she wants the most

"just shut up and wear this" Fer threw a tiny dress she forgot she had on her and walked out of the room

"god i hate you" she let out a sigh, and got in the uncomfortable dress her brother had thrown on her.

When she finished she started working on her hair. She only showered it yesterday so she left it down and went to her make up. Nothing too special just the base and some eyeliner with her favorite lip combo.

When she finished, she sprayed one of her favorite perfumes on and took a deep breath before walking back to the living room where Pedri was.

"you look good. let's go now, they're waiting for us" Pedri said, walking out of the door.

y/n waved at Fernando and yelled a goodbye to her parents.

"will there be too many people?" y/n asked, her anxiety already building up.

"I'm not sure, but like we're going to a club so obviously there will be many people" Pedri shrugged, making y/n internally groan

"just enjoy hermana. everyone will love you" he looked at her with a smile, before turning and continuing his drive.

"this is my sister y/n" Pedri introduced her, as soon as they arrived at the table his friends were sat at.

"you didn't tell us you had a sister. nice to meet you y/n, I'm Pablo. just call me Gavi" he shook her hand immediately, while she gave him an awkward smile.

Fact is she knew everyone already, but of course no one knew her.

"ohh you play on the barca femini team right?" Fermin Lopez said, making her smile a bit. She appreciated that someone actually knew who she was.

She nodded with a smile, while Fermin smiled back at her.

Meanwhile Ferran was watching every interaction between the two of them, and for some reason bothered with it.

He was a bit disappointed when she didn't greet him, not knowing that she was trying her best not to look at him just because of how captivating he was.

"why don't you go get a drink and loosen up?" Pedri suggested, noticing that she was sitting awkwardly and not talking to anyone.

y/n ordered a coke, and waiting for the bartender to make her drink.

"hey pretty one. can I buy you a drink?" a voice from behind her said. She froze when she didn't recognize the voice, and swallowed the lump that has formed in her throat.

She looked behind her and saw a creepy tall man, with muscles and tattoos all over his arms.

She shook her head and turned back, hoping the bartender would hurry up.

At the same time, Ferran noticed the guy that approached y/n, and got up from his seat immediately when he saw the uncomfortable look on her face.

"come on. it's just a drink" he said, standing too close that she felt his presence intrusively invading her personal space.

An overwhelming sense of panic and unease washed over her when she felt his hand on her waist. Her breath was shallow and a knot was forming in her stomach.

All she wanted to do was push him away, but she seemed to be frozen and can't move.

"hey babe. did you get your drink yet?" a familiar voice said from behind her. The man behind her moving away quickly.

She let out a shaky breath, turning to see Ferran standing there with a worried expression on his face

"you okay?" he asked, taking small steps closer to her.

"I just need to get some air" she whispered pushing past him and getting out of the club

She stood outside, her heart felt like it was about to burst out of her chest, pounding so loud she could almost hear it. Every breath was a struggle, as if the air had turned thick and suffocating.

She clutched her chest, feeling the tight grip of anxiety squeezing her. The world around her seemed to blur as her mind raced with fearful thoughts, making it hard to focus on anything else. She desperately tried to find a sense of calm, but the panic had taken hold, leaving her feeling helpless and overwhelmed.

Ferran ran behind her, seeing her struggle to breath. He sat her down against the wall, cupping her cheeks in his hands and trying to look her in the eyes.

"hey look at me. Take a deep breath. You're safe now preciosa" he said softly, his voice soothing. (precious)

y/n felt his calming presence in front of her, as the blur in her eyes was starting to disappear. Ferran guided her through a breathing exercise, until she was able to breath normally.

His hands still on her cheeks, as she looked up at him with appreciation, unable to speak any word.

He smiled down at her, his thumb running over her cheekbones as he looked closely into her brown eyes.

He brought her face closer to his, pressing a small kiss on her forehead and hugging her securely

y/n couldn't fight the urge to not hug him back, and wrapped her arms tightly around his muscular torso. She couldn't help the tears that started to stream down her face. Ferran was giving her a sense of security she had never felt in her life. And that was terrifying considering she only knew him for a little while now

"don't cry precosia. you're safe and no one will hurt you" he whispered in her hair, his fingers running down from her head to her back, rubbing it calmly.

He pulled her head away from his neck, running his fingers under her eyes to wipe her tears away.

"do you want me to take you home?" he asked her, his hands never letting go of her face

She nodded her head slowly, before Ferran got up and pulled her up with him.

"let's just tell Pedri" he said, grabbing her hand and pulling her inside with him.

"Pedri. I'm leaving and y/n said she's tired so I'm taking her to her apartment is that okay?" he asked, although Pedri was looking half drunk already

"yeah yeah. just take care of the road" he nodded, giving his sister a pat on the shoulder before the two walked to Ferran's car

The ride to y/n's apartment was silent, only the faint music of the radio playing in the background while y/n helped Ferran reach her apartment. When he did, he turned the car off and looked at y/n.

She didn't want to be alone at the moment. So she acted on her intuition.

"do you wanna stay a bit. maybe we can watch a movie or something..." she said hesitantly, seeing how Ferran's face lightened up a bit

"are you sure? i really don't want to make you uncomfortable or something" he said, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand

"please, I don't wanna be alone right now" she said in a low voice, making Ferran's heart break slightly at the girl in front of him

The final whistle echoed through the stadium like thunder.

For a moment, everything seemed to stop. The deafening roar of the crowd, the euphoric screams of his teammates, the lights shining on the pitch – everything became a blur as Pedri stood there, trying to process what had just happened.

Barcelona were champions of the Spanish Super Cup.

The explosion of emotions was immediate. Pedri let out a disbelieving laugh, putting his hands on his head as his teammates ran to hug him. Sweat ran down his face, mixing with the tears he didn't even bother to hold back. His heart was beating so hard, it almost came out of his mouth.

The road to this point had not been easy. He remembered every difficult moment, the muscle pain after exhausting training, the criticism, the painful defeats that made him doubt himself. But none of that mattered now. He had done it. He had won.

Suddenly, he felt an impact against his body – Gavi grabbed him by the shoulders, shaking him in pure excitement.

“WE ARE CHAMPIONS, HERMANO!” he shouted, laughing.

“CHAMPIONS, FUCK!” shouted Lewandowski, hugging them both.

The players began to gather in the middle of the field, celebrating, shouting, jumping. The stadium was a sea of blue and maroon, the fans cheered, singing the Barcelona anthem at the top of their lungs. Fireworks exploded in the sky, lighting up that unforgettable night.

But, in the midst of all that euphoria, Pedri was only looking for one thing.

He turned his face to the stands and, as if he knew exactly where to look, his eyes found those who were his greatest motivation: Y/N and her children.

There, in the front row, were Mateo and Martín, the five-year-old twins, jumping and shouting with excitement. They were both wearing Barcelona shirts with their father’s name on the back and holding small club flags. In Y/N’s arms was little Sofía, two years old, clapping her hands with a radiant smile.

Pedri's heart sank. If there was anything more important than football, it was them.

It was then that one of the club's employees approached, touching his shoulder.

"Your family is already coming to the field."

Pedri smiled broadly, feeling his chest heat up. He turned in time to see Y/N bend down to say something to the boys and, as soon as the employee gave permission, Mateo and Martín shot through the tunnel, running towards the lawn with all the energy they had.

“PAPÁ!” they both shouted together, even catching the attention of some players.

Pedri let out an emotional laugh and bent down just in time to receive them in his arms. The boys threw themselves at him, their little faces lit up with joy, and he hugged them tightly, feeling their little hearts beating fast.

“Did you see daddy playing?” he asked, still not believing that those little ones were there, sharing that moment with him.

“You destroyed everyone!” Mateo said, his eyes shining.

“It was the best in the world!” Martín added.

Pedri laughed, feeling an indescribable happiness.

Before he could answer, he felt another presence beside him. He looked up and found Y/n, holding Sofía in her arms. She was smiling at him in a way that made his heart race, as it had since the first day they met.

“Congratulations, love. You deserve this more than anyone.”

Pedri stood up, approached her, and without saying a word, wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a tight hug. He felt her familiar scent, the warmth of her body against his, and knew there was no better place in the world than here.

“I couldn’t have done it without you guys.” He murmured against her hair, feeling the emotion well up inside him.

Y/N pulled away a little, looking at him with a sparkle in her eyes before leaning in and sealing their lips in a soft kiss. The crowd applauded the scene, and some photographers recorded the moment.

“Daddy! Daddy!” Sofía called, stretching out her little arms.

Pedri smiled and picked her up. The little girl touched his sweaty face with her small hands, watching him with innocent curiosity before saying, in her sweet little voice:

“My daddy is a champion!”

And it was at that moment that Pedri felt his heart overflow.

He forgot the trophy. He forgot the medals, the titles, the applause from the fans. Nothing compared to this.

He looked up at the stands again and saw thousands of fans cheering the team, celebrating their victory. But for him, the real victory was there, in the arms of his family.

you agreed to one night you would put on a fake happy face and pretend to love the Pablo gavi. as much as you despised the young boy, he had came to your flat begging you to help him out and he reminded you that you owed him.

“remember you owe me! I helped you when you were drunk, it’s your turn for pay back!” those words stung your chest and were constantly replaying in your head the whole night you posed next to him. you didn’t even want to read the headlines of tomorrows news, you were helping out a “friend” but you couldn’t help but imagine what your family would have to say to the images.

“just keep smiling, you’re doing amazing.” Pablo said through his teeth. a smile planted on his face, his unbelievably sweaty hand in yours. you could see the end of the carpet, you were dying to reach the finish line. you couldn’t wait to step inside and drink the night away.

men with cameras and women with microphones shouted his name trying to grab his attention for a picture or for an interview. he only promised to do one, and then you could be swept inside to enjoy the evening in your separate ways. you were thankful pedri was there already inside, you couldn’t wait to talk to someone who knew you two weren’t dating.

“who is the lovely lady you brought with you tonight? she looks absolutely stunning!” the interviewer pointed to you off to the side, and the camera panned to you watching the other couples flaunt the red carpet. your eyes were full of shock when you saw Lionel Messi step out with his wife, you spent ages of your school years obsessing over him.

“my girlfriend,” the words felt uncomfortable coming out of his mouth, he turned gesturing for you to join him for a quick second, and your hand instantly cupped his pulling on your fake smile for the camera, “this is y/n.”

you could see it now, he just introduced you as his girlfriend and you could already see the football fan accounts losing their minds over you. you could feel the vibration of your phone against the fabric of your purse, your worst nightmare was happening and you weren’t sure how you could escape it now. because now you were stuck having to pose with Pablo gavi for a couple more months, until you could “break” things off.

“thank you so much for your time! enjoy inside.” the interviewer smiled waving a goodbye to you both, as you were swept away by a carpet attendee. officially making your way inside, you let go of his sweaty palm wiping your hand on the back of his suit coat.

“I cannot believe you had to do that. why didn’t you just ignore her question?” you took the first glass of champagne you saw from one of the servers and immediately downed the sparkling liquid.

“ignore her? she asked it as clear as day, y/n.” he rolled his eyes, he scanned the room looking for the familiar face of his friend, he needed to get away from you so you both could enjoy the night as promised.

“now my name is going to be all over the press. you have no idea what you’ve now done to my life.” your eyes finally found pedri first, and you were off to go talk to him. you needed someone with a sane mind to chat with.

pablo didn’t mean for his mistake to hurt you. the words slipped out of his mouth when he looked over at you, the red dress was complementing your curves and breasts he was so mesmerized by you. he didn’t know the words slipped from his mouth until the interviewer was repeating the words back to him.

“ah future mrs.gavi, everyone is already talking about you two.” pedri’s eyes lit up seeing you storm to him, his friend trailing behind you, pushing through groups of people just to stop you from ratting him out.

“how long do you think I’m going to have to keep this up?” you scoffed, you felt a hand gently brush your lower back sending butterflies through your stomach as your whole body jumped. you moved out of the way to see it was Pablo behind you.

“maybe a couple of months? it keeps his name from bad press,” pedri pointed his index finger at his friend before turning to you, “and it makes you look like you’re helping a troubled teenager. it’s a win win.”

“troubled teenager? please I’m only six months younger than her.” he scoffed noticing pedri’s head tilt towards a man with camera taking pictures for an event, and immediately Pablo’s hand touched your lower back it was only to keep with the bit. or for him, was it? he loved watching you bothered by the fact that you had to “date” him.

but as they always say, fake it until you make it. right?

Her best friends, her parents, and all of fc barcelona was there, They were also getting married in her dream wedding venue and also wearing her dream wedding dress. This all felt like a dream to her.

"Are you nervous?" Your best friend asked you

"No. Not at all." You smiled at her

"How come? If it was my wedding i would be nervous as hell." she questioned

"Because the moment I met Gavi, I knew he was ganna be the one. We both met when we were 17 and 18, and now we're both 23 getting married to each other, time flies so fast, I am just so in love with him" you answered truthfully, the words that came out of your mouth were all true, you were head over heals for him. The way he walks, the way he talks, and god the way he fucks just makes you get a whole damn zoo inside.

"strong words for a strong woman" her best friend smirked making y/n giggle.

Pablo was also having the same feeling of her, but harder. ever since he met her, he just wanted to marry her hard, she was killing him slowly if she didn't marry him.

now he was stood at the isle, waiting for his soon to be bride to walk down it, he just couldn't wait to see her in that beautiful gown (and also couldn't wait to rip it off her to)

"how are you holding up?" Pedri asked from the grooms side

"nervous. SO nervous, what if she says no?" Gavi whispered over to him

"she's not ganna say no, have you seen her face whenever she see's you or talks about you? her face just lights up as if she's pulling up to a MacDonalds" Pedri replied, it was true, her eyes were always full of love whenever she see's of talks about him

"really?" gavi asked, his face also turned into a grin

"yes!, now you don't have to worry about anything. you're in good hands" Ped smiled knowing they were just so crazy for each other

"do you mean she's in good hands right? since I take care of her too?"

"no. now shut up the bride is about to come in" Pedri shuts him up

'here come's the bride' starts playing as the door opened revealing the beautiful bride in her gorgeous gown and her dad of course to walk her down the isle. Gavi's jaw dropped. this was his future wife, the person he's about to spend his entire life with and god was he excited. he felt like it was yesterday when they just met during training in Barcelona.

the bride walks down the isle slowly, smiling to people on the way, she wasn't nervous, but she was sure hella weak on the knees. this was her wedding day as I said it before this is the day she's been dreading for since she was five years old

as she made it by the isle she looked Gavi in the eyes giving him a soft smile with love in her eyes. "you look gorgeous" Gavi complemented "you don't look too bad yourself starboy" you teased

and skip the boring stuff, it was time for vows "y/n you may say your vows" the pastor said

y/n took a deep breath and started "Gavi, we met while we were both were in the most confusing days of our life's. we were still trying to figure out how the world works, and still clueless since we were both still teenagers at the time" you laughed mid sentence "But that didn't stop me from falling in love with you, you complete me. you are like a missing puzzle in my life. You're everything that I ever dreamed of and everything I will ever need. Our love for each other is heaven-sent. and on this day, I vow to be here with you and for you, forever and always" you ended with a little bit tears in your eyes

it was Gavi's turn "mi amor, sometimes I feel like you just had to be angel sent from heaven just for me, even though you fell first but I fell harder. My darling, it's with pride and joy that I take you for my wife. Together, we can weather any storm, no matter the season of our lives. I have found my forever partner. With you in my life, I could never be lonely again. I'm in awe of you, our bond, and our potential. I promise to remain in awe while I cherish you for all the rest of our day" he wiped away a tear in his eyes. it was really happening. he was about to marry the love of his life. no. his soulmate

This is gonna be based on the recent Real Madrid v Barcelona match x

This was one of the first few games you attended officially as Pedri's wife; you had a very private ceremony a few months back that only the closest friends and family from both sides knew about. The gold band adorned your ring finger, making it clear to people that you were now unavailable. Usually Pedri would wear his black gloves during a match but during this important game, he did not, needing all the luck in the form of his wedding ring, gifted from you as a token of your eternal love.

As the match went on, Gavi and Lewandowski had already scored goals, putting the team at an advantage over Madrid. Just as the 70th minute was approaching, you saw your husband run through the pitch, the ball neatly being controlled by his feet. He made the final kick and the ball hit the back of the net; he scored the third goal and the stadium was up on its feet, cheering him on.

On one of the big screens, you saw him do his usual celebration, but then he did something new; he kissed his wedding ring and winked at the camera, mouthing an "I love you".

You immediately knew that this goal was dedicated to you, the love of his life.
