okay, I’m doing a major overhaul of my wardrobe for the first time in four years, and I’m looking for inspiration. are there any styles/trends/elements you’ve been particularly into lately?

omg yes! I feel like so many of my tastes are shifting slightly as I approach thirty: everything from the way I do my makeup to waht scents I wear to what colors and fabrics.

Right now I've been enjoying nuetrals as much as ever but I'm enjoying incorporating beige linen and white cotton in with the black and brown to kind of go for this hot librarian who summers in Natucket vibe. Silhouette of the season for me has been breezy button down and wide trousers with a very cinched waist. (Inspo picks are pulled from my Pinterest board, apologies for not citing the models or photographers correctly!)

You can also very easily add touches like velvet, leather, or a vest to make it more rockstar or dark academia as you please.

I've also been wearing less heavy makeup (maybe because it's summer) and choosing a base you can see skin through and cleaner, less muddy eyeshadow looks to pair with imperfectly saturated lips. Like a smudge of brick-red or a swipe of a peach nude instead of a perfectly lined and set liquid lipstick look. Still big into draped blush.

July 29: National Lipstick Day

Luigi hadn’t dabbled much in makeup, but Wendy was adamant that he finds his ‘colors’.

Starting from his foray into dresses, his only experience with lipstick is the clear gloss he puts on with his more put-together outfits.

Upon learning this, however, Wendy put her foot down:

“You mean to tell me you don’t have any lipstick?!”

“Um-“ Luigi remembers tugging at his gloves nervously, unsure where exactly it became an interrogation. “I, never really brought any? And… it didn’t seem like a big deal…”

Junior, who was doodling nearby, joined Wendy on staring at him in shock. “But Mama! You would look even prettier!”

“Um…”

“Junior’s right!” His daughter is quick to grab his hand, tugging him to and out the door and -presumably- to her room. “A dress without makeup is like a suit with no tie! It’s required by fashion law!”

From there, it was a series of events that had led to Luigi putting on his favorite dress, getting the rest of the kids as a makeshift judge panel, and ‘posing’ for each color and shade imaginable.

His personal favorites where ‘Nude Beach’ and ‘Pretty in Pink’, colors that went well with his skin tone and apparently gave him a ‘naturalistic look’.

But, overall, Luigi didn’t think there would be any shades he would really like-

And then he tried ‘Written in Blood’ (what are these names).

It was a dark red, a few shades lighter than dried blood (which he knew because of kitchen related accidents), and had let his blue eyes ‘pop’.

Mostly, he liked how it made him look almost elegant- maybe even a bit alluring, for a lack of a better word.

Of course, the kids just thought of it as ‘pretty’, but he’ll take their unanimous agreement on the color being ‘his’.

And Luigi ended up with a new, if not small, collection of lipstick.

From then, he dipped into wearing lipstick every now and then, usually sticking to the natural colors for everyday use and wearing the dark red for special occasions.

(It also led to growing his collection through recommendations from Peach, Daisy, and Wendy, but it’s a story for another time.)

The first time he wore it in front of Bowser was during their fifth anniversary, eliciting a sputtering, wide-eyed reaction that had Luigi feeling particularly fluttery.

And when Bowser nervously asked if he could wear it more often?

Amidst my box of pink, peach and nude shades of lipsticks, the bold red lip colour stands out. It appears as if it wants to mock me. 'You purchased me from Ladies Corner two months and I am still sitting in your box with an unbroken seal. Are you afraid of a colour?'

I have worn red sarees, red frocks and even red tops. I have red clips and rubber bands, heck even red sandals, but the prospect of applying red lipstick scares me. It makes me nervous. I have heard this boy tell me that you look gently and dainty in pink and peach shades like a fairy. The other day while coming back from college, I heard an aunty comment on a girl, saying, "God, did you see that bold red shade on her lips. It looks so improper. Girls should wear light shades that makes them look graceful."

But I remember applying the same red shade on my lips after borrowing her lipstick. She was reading a book then and I was trying out her lipstick. The colour suited me so well! For the first time, I got goosebumps when I saw my lips in red. It felt as empowering, liberating, bold as well as beautiful. My friend was observing my reaction and cheered, "You must wear red colour too you know. The shades you wear look pretty, but red has that charm which no other shade has." I blush and mutter a thank you. That evening I bought a red lipstick for myself.

Never wore it after I purchased it though. I always make excuses to myself. I carry a gentle, sweet, cotton candy persona so red isn't suitable.

Like always, I pick my light pink lipstick to retain my natural colour. I look at the black saree with golden borders carefully placed on the bed and then at my reflection in the mirror. Open tousled hair, black blouse, white petticoat and golden jhumke dangling down my ears. I bring the pink lipstick near my lips when suddenly the mirror turns black.

Gasping, I touch the mirror. I pinch myself to ensure if I am active or dreaming. The slight pain tells me I am actively experiencing this. My heart paces in panic. This feels like a scene from a horror movie and for a moment I brace myself to prepare for a ghostly attack when the black fades away only to reveal a lady dressed in dark red robes. Her outfit reminds me of sculptures of dancers, apsaras and goddesses from ancient Indian temples and paintings.

Her skin is as fair as milk. Well drawn arched eyebrows between which a red circular dot called bindu is carefully applied. Deep kohl highlights her beautiful pair of eyes. On her neck, I see a nuptial chain and a couple of jewelled necklaces reaching below her bosom. A thick strip of deep red cloth is tied around her chest. On her waist, I see a loosely tied waist chain and her hips sport a jingling hip belt. She wears a dhoti styled draped cloth which reaches till the knees to cover the lower half of the body. There was a specific name to it which I had read in a book. Sadly, I can't recall the name anymore.

I stare at her matchless beauty. She gracefully steps outside the mirror and stands behind me. Her thin fingers gently place themselves on my shoulders, and she whispers in my ear. "Did you recognize me?"

Stuttering, I try to form an answer. "Apsara Menaka?" She looks like a sculpture reborn alive from a temple after all!

The woman chuckles and taps my cheek with her index finger. "I am the Goddess of Love, my darling."

My lips part in shock. I gaze at the reflection of the woman beside me. "Rati...." I murmur.

"Absolutely correct! Thankfully, you remember me. Many women don't -- atleast not in today's generation."

Hundreds of question circle my mind regarding why is the Love goddess here in my room on a random Saturday afternoon when I am to leave for an outing in an hour.

"My my, did you forget about the lady in red from your visions? I am here for that only," I hear the goddess say.

She snaps her fingers and the lady in red appears on my mirror. Her face looks eerily similar to mine. I hear Devi Rati again. "Do not look away from the mirror until the lady in red disappears."

The woman looks mesmerizing. She doesn't have the perfect zero figure like models do. I see her belly rolls and love handles. There are a few stretch marks on the side of her waist where a thin chain lies. But God, the confidence on her face and eyes makes me shiver. Her eyes makes me want to get lost. This was the woman, I wanted to be and not someone who pinched at her love handles and looked up hundred ways of removing stretch marks from my hips and thighs while fretting over my slight double chin and non existent jawline.

Devi Rati speaks again. "Look at her, love. Her bold red dress stands for the feminine energy she carries within herself. Do not confuse her sensuality with lust. Her eyes are bright and playful. She needs no man no woman to tell her how gorgeous she looks or how modest she has to look. She saw you look at the 'flaws' of her form, but she is beyond flaws and perfections of the flesh. She knows the trivial nature of beauty. It only lasts until the age of youthfulness runs. But does that mean one should not appreciate beauty? Should one not wear good clothes and adorn themselves?

"They should and everyone has the right to feel good about themselves. Do not cover or hide yourself. If you love a colour, a dress or a jewel, wear it. If the world has to judge you, they would just do it for a minute and forget about you in the next minute." She picks the red lipstick from my box. "Your life is too short to be spent in worry if a boy or that old woman down the lane will call you bold for wearing a simple red shade."

She gently applies the lipstick on my lips. Her eyes meet mine and what she says next gives me goosebumps once again. "When they tell you to cover yourself on their narrowed understanding of modesty and culture, remind them about me, Rati, the goddess of Love and Beauty. Remind them of the goddesses and their sculptures from the same temples they love to visit. Remind them of apsaras and beautiful maidens who were clever, wise, knowledgeable and beautiful. Remind them of the same golden ancient culture that looked upon the female form, every female body as divine and everlasting."

The goddess makes me stand up and removes her hip belt and ties it around mine. "Do not let them dim your shine. This powerful red shade intimidates many. This power, this divinity and beauty is your reminder that we reside in you. Your body is a temple for the divine Shakti. You are the legacy of us Goddesses, queens and maidens who carried wisdom and power equally. Do not let them take away or make you hide this powerful radiance from your mind, heart, body and soul."

Rati snaps her fingers once again and the mirror shows my reflection. I am dressed in the same red saree, bold dark kohl lined eyes, red lipstick, jingling anklets and roses in my hair just like the lady in red from my dreams. She winks and says, "I not only make two people fall in love, my love. I also teach how to fall in love and admire oneself."

"Thank you, Rati..." My eyes well up with tears. It's not because I look so pretty. It's because for finally acknowledging my identity, my power and my connection with these divine women and Goddesses who have looked after me and every woman on earth. I promise myself that I shall let no one especially a man to take away my strength and pride for me, not when I carry the power of the Goddesses in my bones.

"Now now, i would hate to see that kajal drip down your eyes."

I laugh and wave at the goddess. Time to show the world sakhis!

so i had this random idea that i just COULDN’T get out of my head.

i hadn’t really seen any genderbend of mario and luigi as much as i had seen peach. and when i did see some, they were mostly just anime girls with red and green caps on. so i kept wondering how a girl version, *with their original form in mind*, would look like. 

that’s sort of the difficulty of this thing,how would their bodytype translate to a femme form?, what would i do without their mustaches? it’s their trademark! how could you tell its mario and luigi without their iconic mustaches?. what about their noses?.  also using references from the already existing girl characters in the mario universe, most of them wear lipstick, would mario and luigi have to wear lipstick then? what about their hair?. but im also thinking about how nintendo designs girl characters and try to match that to make it as canon looking as possible

explaining the pictures

1 - the motive behind the lipstick idea. shows their hair with and without their hats, how much would be visible with them on. to sort of match the og design instead of having their bangs under the hats which just looks funky.

2 - paper mario/smaller looking/manga design, mario and luigi have very expressive faces and body shapes and i didnt want the genderbend to prevent that bc “girls r supposed to be pretty statues buh buh buh” that typically makes them look stiff or like just hot girls in a masceraude. m&l have a typical “squash and stretch duo” (i swear this makes sense pls look it up). the bodies are supposed to look neutral, that could belong to either the guys or girls and shows their natural body shape while holding the same goofyness.

3/4 - lipstick ideas, a natural shade vs the brown matching the OG’s mustaches and their hair. the brown and natural lipstick shade works better(imo) than something the girls from peach’s universe would typically wear like red or pink. the brown and nude color just sort of reflects their whole “we’re just two italian guys from brooklyn who get down and dirty with our sewage plumbing job” so i dont think they’d wear anything bright even if they were girls, if they even wear lipstick at all!! it doesnt matter which one really. 

5/6 - rough body sketches. the blue one is their bodies more semi-“realistically” or just more like the usual art style, you can see the curve and flops. the red is more rounded up, basically how those 3d nintendo models of mario and luigis bodies, simpler shapes, smooth with no interruption, how nintendo would model their bodies in games basically. you can see the simple little tummy luigi has on louise’s body too. basically a “if u remove the boobs its basically them” as identical bodies as possible. 

this is not the finished product, as i still have their clothes to go. maybe i’ll even add voice headcanons?. again, i dont know where this urge came from but i love complicating already existing character design :D

LOTD: BeneFit California Kissin Moisturizing Lip Balm in 55 Nude-Pink. #Scentoftheday Miss Dior Parfum EDP by Christian Dior.

This week I'm trying out boujie lip balms from my collection that I've never used before. Starting with this BeneFit one, which I bought alongside another 2 ages ago. Then I recently bought another shade and was sorely disappointed when I saw the packaging...

Packaging: I love the whole 70's, flower power illustration they use both on the boxes and the lid of the balm (even the inside of the boxes are decorated in a floral pattern) and that the boxes are reflective of the colour inside. The end of the lid is fluted along with the flower like petal shapes at the base and I love that they stand and you can see the shade through the lid. The back of the lid features the back of the girls hair, it's just adorable. That was until the most recent one I bought (300 Rosewood), in the same box, but with a tampon applicator looking lid. Really, it's all I can think of looking at it! It's the same shape, but frosted, no illustration and just awkward looking.

Feel & application: Twisting up like a regular lipstick or balm with a flat, slanted (round) tip, it was easy to apply and there was very little overspill over the edges of the balm and no bleeding once applied. It has a glossy enough finish that (if I wasn't solely testing out the balm) I wouldn't require gloss with it, but the colour is as pigmented as a lipstick. That shine doesn't stay as strong, it dries to a similar finish of an opaque, cream lipstick. It also began to feel less creamy between my lips as it wore on. I ended up removing it prior to eating a few hours later, so can't tell you how long it lasts, but it claims 8 hours of wear.

Colour: I wore 55 Nude-Pink and have shown the balms in the same order throughout this post. My swatches above have no light or colour edits to them, but I'd say (especially 33) the swatches were brighter in person. Nude-Pink became quite a bold warm pink as it dried on me. From my swatches I'd say it's the most 'me' colour of the lot. 33 Peach-Pink left me questioning why I bought it, neon orange in the tube with a bright pink flash when swatched. I hate it! 300 Rosewood, the newer purchase, had a drier feel when swatching, than the others, whilst 333 Berry appeared to have more of a sheen to it than others (not sparkly, just more luminosity). The swatches show several swipes and the colour can be quickly built up.

Overall verdict: I'd definitely use this more as a lipstick than balm. The strong colour payoff (you'd require a mirror to apply) and fact it isn't sheer or slippy and stays where it's put (no bleeding outside the lips) makes it feel lipstick-like to me rather than a moisturising balm. I'm sad they lost the illustration on the lid, it almost harked back to BeneFit's old covetable, retro packaging before brow products and mascara became their sole purpose in life.

Let's chat about one viral product today everyone is obsessed and loving at the moment (including myself). Today is all about the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oils, £20.00. Now I know what you're thinking, Bella these have been out for a while? You would be correct however I never expected it to be so hard to get hold of the lip oils! I have been stalking my local Space NK store for a month to get the shades I wanted, now I finally have them so we can finally chat about the shades in more detail.

Let's go through the shades I picked up:

Happy - Cool Pink (top left)

Joy - Muted Peach (bottom left)

Serenity - Warm Rose ( bottom right)

Now if you have no idea what this viral product is let me fill you in. The Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oils are lip products that have a unique gel formula that transforms on contact into a tinted oil for the comfiest kiss of color and shine your lips have ever felt. The formula is non-sticky and can easily be layered up to go from a soft wash of colour to a more intense pigment. Unlike other lip oils it also gently plumps lips for a fuller, healthier-looking pout in seconds, it's crazy because it plumps your lips without the stinging feeling we all hate.

I adore these lip oils because they are truly unlike anything I have ever tried before and what makes them the most unique to me is the tinted colour it leaves on your lips as the oil fades. I tend to forget to reapply lipstick throughout the day so having a product that actually leaves a tint of colour on my lips as it fades is a makeup miracle to me! Now I have linked the lip oils above but if you're looking to pick up a shade or two I would start looking asap because they sell out like crazy all the time.

Matty nervously straightened his tie, running a hand through his perfectly gelled salt and pepper curls. Sitting on their bed, and facing the bathroom door, he hears the blow dryer whirring and Nora singing softly to her music. His knee bounces in anxiety, checking his watch to ensure they are not late for her big night. The gallery down the street from them in London was putting on an exhibition of local artists, one of them being his very own Nora Downey. A small gallery sure, but that didn’t matter to Nora. In the bathroom, she was gleaming as she put on her suit. Matty had pulled a few strings with some fashion people he knew and got in contact with Thom Browne who agreed to make suits for the lovely couple. Nora’s being a beautiful, buttery soft camel brown wool one with gentle round shoulders and blonde lapels. Matty’s being a navy-grey pin stripe with matching tie. Both haven’t seen the other’s suit since she had to attend meetings for the event and Matty was in New York at the time of the fittings while hers were with the brand’s UK team here in London. She smoothed over her collar one last time and pouted her lips, touching up the nude lipstick she had selected, emphasis being her cinnamon eyes. Hearing the door knob to the bathroom shuffle, Matty fixes himself like a schoolboy about to take his crush to the prom. He clears his throat and out walks the most dazzling woman he has ever seen. His heart for real skips several beats. He holds a hand to it and his elbows drop to his knees. He can’t believe her. He can’t believe she is his. In awe, his hand now rests on his lower lip.

As if she couldn’t be any more perfect, she says in her peach sweet voice, “Ya know one day you’re gonna catch flies in your mouth if you gape at me like that all the time.” She teases him. He blushes tomato red. All the bravado and machismo of Truman Black slides off him like a sheet, revealing the adorably soft and sentimental Matty Healy. Not that she would ever tell anyone he gets like this around her, she finds it too cute to share – wanting to keep this boy-like wonder only known to her. Her sweet Matty. “Lookin’ sharp, handsome.” She compliments, now pulling him up by the tie for a kiss. His cheeks now crimson.

“Y-You as well, Honey. My god, I feel like marrying you all over again. You’re so beautiful, baby. Leaves me speechless. I can’t believe your my date to this tonight, that I get to walk you in and take your coat and kiss you all night. Now, shall we be on our way, Mrs. Healy?” He praises her as if she is god herself and adding the question she’s been dreaming of him to ask her since they started dating all those moons ago.

“Why, yes. Yes, we shall, Mr. Healy!” He sighs contently, hearing the title roll off her tongue with ease – like she had always been meant to say it.

“Handsome, look at this one! You have to get a picture infront of it, please?” Nora asks as she sees a sign that says “you don’t have to look like a twat to be an artist.” Matty roles his eyes and stays cemented in his spot. “Oh come on, its funny! It’ll be over in a second then you can go back to pouting, and you might get a reward…” She bribes. He begrudgingly goes and stands infront of the sign pulling a face. Nora laughs in victory and sends it to him. “Oh the fans are gonna love that one, baby.” She says to him teasing. Then she spots someone a few feet away…

“Matty, this is Linda from Tate Modern. She is who I met in Vegas. I think someone told me they may be putting some of my art in there next spring!” Nora pulls him towards the older woman. Matty hasn’t understood a single thing anyones said the entire evening – the only word he’s recognized anyone say so far is postmodernism, but that was a given. Matty is just ticking down the minutes until the gallery presents each artist and lets them explain their work presented that evening. Now thinking, he hasn’t heard Nora’s speech - she must be terrified. Matty kinda loses focus of their conversation after greeting the woman and when he comes back into himself, Nora is no longer with him but talking to a guy across the hall. Suddenly much more interested in the evening and feeling much more flirtatious, he walks with a swagger in his step towards Nora and the mystery man who is standing a bit too close to her for Matty’s liking.

“Oh honey, this is Calvin from the Metropolitan Museum of Art! I knew him in college, he graduated the year before me.” Nora acting as the middle man here.

Calvin stretches out a hand – Matty clocks the Rolex watch a mile away, everything about the guy screaming rich douchebag. “Oh Nora, this must be your boyfriend Matthew, is it?” Matty wants to punch him. Badly. He eyes Nora, raising his eyebrows as if to say “is he for real?”She shrugs.

“Actually, I’m her husband, mate! And my name is Matty.” He spits, venom seeping through every syllable. Nora shivers, never seeing him so quiet, yet fuming. She then catches a glint in his eyes that wasn’t there a few seconds ago…jealousy? Nora delights, she’s never seen him jealous before so this should be fun.

“Oh, apologies. I believe the invitations said Matthew Healy and Nora Downey. Didn’t know you two were married!” Nora now notices how he didn’t even congratulate them? Nothing? They were newlyweds for gods sake, who doesn’t wish a happy couple a good future? Now, she is angry, but not over the invitation mishap, but his blatant disrespect towards her relationship. As if in sync, they both mutter under their breaths “oh for fuck’s sake..” They share a look and Matty smirks, getting an idea.

“Well, we must be taking our seats now… what with her being honored and all. How exactly did you get invited to this again, with being from an american gallery and all? And let’s be honest not even the good one. Mate, you and I both know the Guggenheim is leagues better. Anyways, have an… evening!”

Calvin bumbles. Matty has succeeded, wrapping his arm around Nora’s neck and kissing her forehead they take their front-and-center seats. She giggles at how possessive he can get on the flip of a dime.

“And our first honoree of the evening, the incomparable and tour de force of abstract and avant garde art, Nora Downey!” The crowd claps as Nora confidently steps forward. She’s practiced this so many times, she could do it in mandarin – well if Matty wasn’t staring at her, eyes locked onto her own. A shaky exhale, a fidget of her hands as she pulls her papers in front of her and places them on the glass podium.

“Avant garde – new, unusual or experimental ideas. In my works around this gallery I have aimed to deliver this message while connecting it to my own ideas of the word and how it relates to me as an artist, as a friend, as a daughter, as a wife.” She glares at Calvin as the last word leaves her lips. “What I have realized is that my life was relatively normal, going on the regular course of life events for a ‘painter’ or ‘abstract artist’ until I met my husband. I was on a work trip and met him after a meeting that evening, and in that moment my whole life was thrown off one course and onto another. Onto an avant-garde one. Off the typical often tragic life of an artist and onto one of being a human who not only made art, but was now able to experience a different form of it and saw that art progress from notion to production to promotion. I have had the incredible experience of seeing how one form of art can interplay with another and heighten the experience for the subject or viewer. I tried to accomplish some of that in my work – using text from literature, phrases from propaganda as well as my own paintings to create a larger, more thought provoking experience.

Now, if I may speak a bit about my inspirations and what brought this idea forward exactly and how I came up with these ideas, I’d like to mention my ever loving husband Matty Healy – a musician. He has taken my previously quiet, lonely, often nocturnal life and nourished it, accepted it, and supported it. He has turned my solitary and introspective life and made it into one that is lush and vibrant, one that is open to different experiences and expressions. He has taken me and my lifestyle and made me into the artist you see before you. Someone confident in my work, proud of it in all its flaws and imperfections and even someone who is no longer too modest or self-effacing to be honored at a gathering like this. He has helped me see not only my own value, but the value of my life’s work and for that I will never be able to thank or repay him enough. Matty, may the only words I speak for the rest of my life be I love you. Thank you again for the honor, everyone!” She exhales, eyes brimming with tears. She sees Matty’s eyes are also glassy and she melts. Every word from her speech being the whole truth, meaning every last letter with every fiber of her being. She knew all of this from the first second she laid eyes on him. She knew she loved him before even meeting him. She knew he was the love of her life like she knew her own name.

Everyone applauds again, Matty jumping to his feet teary-eyed. He couldn’t be prouder, happier, more excited for her. If anyone in his life deserves to have their work be praised and honored by their colleagues it is undoubtedly Nora. She is the most hardworking, passionate, interesting person he has ever come across. He recalls the countless nights of him bringing up mugs of peppermint tea and cookies to her studio while papers and sketches sprawled across the room, not even an inch for him to stand. He recalls all the nights where they would make love and suddenly he’d find a swatch of dried paint on her skin, paying special attention to it. He recalls the first time he ever went to one of these events where someone had bought her work and displayed it, in shock over how people would flock to the museum to see her art. How people would get her pieces or fragments of them permanently etched on their skin, how she cried each time she saw on on her social media or walking around New York and meeting a young art student who was a fan of her work.

He recalls the first time one of his own fans ever brought her up at a signing and how he blushed and gushed about her with the young college student. How he realized in that very moment that she is the most magnificent thing that has every happened to him. Without her, he would never be opened up to this world or half of the stuff he has made references to in his own art. Without her, his own work would be empty, desolate, robotic, completely without all the mattyisms it is known for today. Without her, he would be a shell of himself. It is dizzying how much he loves her. How he got lucky enough to call her his wife is a mystery to him, but for whatever god sent her to him he is thankful…

I wanted to make a little list of headcanons for mukuro that I either posted on my old blog and forgot to transfer over here or only just thought about them and haven't posted about them lmao :3 It'll be primarily for across all of her verses/AUs, if ones are more specific to various verses/AUs I'll put what they apply to in bold. this is also a list I'll probably come back to every now and again to add/edit

— She loves making people squirm lol which is why she'll wear that type of pheromone perfume from time to time ESPECIALLY at like really fancy parties or in instances where she's around a lot of people lol Mukuro loves watching expressions shift even the slightest amount

— Mukuro, no matter what verse, will always have her nails done in some type of manner. It'll either be something simple like a French tip, or a full set of a single color ( probably either black, dark purple, or nude color ) and she's even been known to do the neon color French tip style before. The shape varies from stiletto, coffin, or lipstick, and they're always long in length.

— She doesn't really stick to just one type of scent, Mukuro's the type to change periodically/seasonally, but she is rather fond of peach or cherry blossom scents.

— the same goes for lip products lol she doesn't typically stick to just cherry or strawberry she'll go for fun flavors like peaches and cream or blueberry smoothie.

— Mukuro will always favor fashion/aesthetics over practicality lmao which is why she learned how to do basically anything and everything in heels and any type of armor she wears looks like it'd do anything but offer proper protection and that tends to show a lot of skin/skin tight. It's also why she'll more often than not get custom pieces ordered/made.

— She also doesn't tend to wear anything that has a lot of layers, mainly because of the scarring on her back and just overall not loving the feeling of how heavy a lot of layers tend to be.

— Mukuro doesn't really consider herself dressing for the ' male gaze ' She honestly wears that type of stuff because she really likes it and thinks the outfits are hot as hell so she'll refer to it as dressing for ' her gaze ' lol

— Also she dresses like that to keep the appearances that she has amazingly high self-esteem, or at least help herself have more of one, when in actuality it's the opposite lol

— While around people, Mukuro tends to suffer from Resting Bitch Face, but when alone ( and even when she doesn't think anyone is looking ) that fades into something that reflects such a deep-seated loneliness

— Physical touch/affection is her main love language but other than the basic stuff like hand-holding and cuddling, Mukuro also loves it when someone brushes her hair or braids/styles it for her. ( plus it doesn't run the risk of her being too vocal about how nice she's feeling unlike getting a massage tends to do lmaoooo )

— When she's standing next to someone and they make a playful/stupid remark, depending on how close they are in terms of friendship, she'll either just do the standard elbow nudge or the playful slap of the arm, but when she's close with someone she'll opt to do the type of nudging she really loves to do and that's a hip check. Maybe it's because her hips/thighs are pretty strong but she loves watching people stagger a bit when she hip-checks them lol.

— LOOK AT ME IN THE EYES AND TELL ME SHE WOULDN'T KISS THE INJURIES OF OTHERS SHE'D PATCH UP ESPECIALLY IF SHE CARES DEEPLY FOR THE PERSON SHE'S PATCHING UP

— bg3!mukuro, when you get on her good side/she finds you trustworthy enough/become her friend whenever she uses deception with someone if you lock eyes with her and the person she's talking to looks away, she will absolutely give a quick sly wink or her lips will quick lift up into a smirk

— Mukuro loves softly singing to herself while she's bathing/showering and cooking, those are really the only times she sings unprompted

— bg3!mukuro, whenever she has armor that would make sense to be barefooted, she'll opt for instead wearing some sort of strappy heel or thigh-high boot.

— bg3!mukuro - this is her default camp/casual attire and this is her default armor and her default underwear
