Our MDX376 Hybrid Turbo is a great solution for extracting the best out of your VAG PD150 engine.

These engines are found in Seat’s, VW’s and Audi’s fitted with the 1.9 litre 150bhp ARL engine between 2001 and 2004.

MDX376 - Stage 2 Hybrid Turbo comprises:

• Turbo Dynamics designed Billet Compressor Wheel • Re-profiled compressor housing to suit • 360 degree thrust bearing • Modified turbine wheel blades to reduce backpressure • Blueprinting of turbo to motorsport standards • Estimated Power Output: 220-240 BHP

As well as the PD150 engine we also do servicing, repairs and hybrid upgrades for the PD105, PD110, PD130, PD140 and PD170 engines.

For servicing and repairs on all turbos from the PD range of VAG engines our prices start at £195+vat, for us to upgrade your existing turbo to our hybrid spec costs from £395+vat depending on turbo condition.

This particular turbo and manifold have been given an optional Zircotec ceramic coating (in silver) to help control engine bay temperatures.

The PD or (Pump duse) system is an electronically controlled system for direct diesel injection, since 1998. In this video you can see How to replace PD injector (Pump duse) on injection system TDI 1.9 - DIY . The injection system TDI 1.9 is common for VW group brands : Audi , VW , Seat and Skoda . Replacing PD injector in your own garage is easy and quick job , just see it on this video .

What is special about the PD system is that there is an individual pump for each cylinder. The pump and nozzle are combined in a compact unit, called PD injector (Pump duse) installed directly in the cylinder head. The Pump duse system allows a high injection pressure of up to 2,200 bar. This kind of system is installed on TDI 1.9 common for Audi , VW , Seat and Skoda .

This is for a set of ASZ PD130 / ARL PD150 , PD injectors which are found in the VW Golf Mk4, VW Bora, Seat Leon and Seat Toledo as well as others

This is our new project, got a pd150 TDi in it, got no figures but it goes like a stabbed rat.

Its a total beater but half the fun will be fixing it. We drove it to the garage without power steering, a fan and questionable back brakes
