2017 PCS Open Champion! It was another incredible event this year at the Øverås DiscGolfPark for the PCS Open in Vestnes, Norway! It was an honor and a pleasure to play against my good friend Espen Møkkelgjerd (@mokkis1) along with many Norway's Best Players and several Norwegian Disc Golf Champions! Special thanks to Sivert Øverås, Jøran Lufall and PCS Construction, and Brage Grønningsæter for the gracious invitation, hard work on the courses, amazing hospitality and passion for creating this awesome event! After a very close battle last year, I'm very happy that I could come back to win this year in a sudden death playoff! I have always considered this part of the world to be it's own special paradise that's difficult to capture in picture or explain but a place that I always look forward to coming back to visit! It was an incredible Disc Golf Adventure the past week in Western Norway at the inaugural year of the PCS Open! A week filled with a great event, a very entertaining player's party, an instructional clinic, some new Disc Golf Courses played, boat rides in the Norwegian Sea, traveling throughout the country in sports cars, visiting famous fjords and making new friends! It's exciting to the growth of Disc Golf in the area since I was last there 3-years ago and inspiring to see the potential for the future as the sport will only continue to grow! Special thanks to Sivert Øverås, Jøran Lufall, Brage Grønningsæter for all they have done to prepare for the PCS Open, complete weekend of Disc Golf festivities along with some amazing sightseeing journeys! Thank you so much for everything, I really appreciate your generosity and kindness! Congrats to Ståle Hakstad and Håkon Kveseth on their solid play at the event, it was especially nice to hang out with you guys throughout the week!
