Okay hear me out.

Once upon a time, there was little Cloaker from a dream. No one knew who had dreamed of him. It had really been such a small dream. The little Cloaker began to think. “I don’t want to disappear. How can I make people dream of me?” The little Cloaker thought and thought, until finally he found a safehouse and came up with an idea. “I will let those humans come into my world... and they will make their own prison.”

So Alice Human Sacrifice AU. How would that go?

I am telling you right now, Wolf is the first Alice. We all know why. A dream world where he can go on a killing spree without hearing Bain bug him or being in the way of anything or making a job harder? Sign him the hell up! Of course, a dude on a murder spree probably screaming in Swedish is gonna send up red flags, so the people end up arresting him, trying him, deciding he’s insane, and locking him up in an institution. Wolf is currently still there, hallucinating his friends and his old family and murmuring to himself about when he wakes up. Chains is probably the second Alice. He sings to himself privately if some of the safehouse lines are anything to go by, and I feel like bro would go all out in the dream world. So the people are like, “Hey, this guy’s pretty good!” And he becomes a rich celebrity. Of course, with a celebrity status comes crazy fans, and one puts a bullet in him. At which point he goes into a coma. The doctors save him, but he has amnesia and is currently being taken care of in his home, unaware of who or where he is. The third Alice can be Hoxton, who has a fixed face in the dream. Bro’s a con man, so he probably lies and cheats his way to the top, eventually becoming a king loved by the people. But dreams can slowly become nightmares, and Hox starts thinking about his scars and the prison stint, so he sees himself at his absolute worst when he passes mirrors. He can still put on an act, but in private you see a worn, haggard man surrounded by broken mirrors and curled up on the floor, reliving his lowest points. And, of course, the fourth Alice. Siblings. Dallas and Houston aren’t twins, but they are siblings, and that’s close enough. They see it as a chance to bond with who they’re under the impression is a dream version of their brother, so they explore together, unintentionally creating new areas in this Wonderland (ha ha). The deeper they go, the less they want to stop. If Houston wakes up, he goes back to his kind of distant big bro who sometimes confuses him and Hoxton when they’re in masks (the medic bags aren’t good for him). If Dallas wakes up, he goes back to the little bro who kind of resents him and no one can blame him. It’s just a few more hours of sleep, after all. What’s so bad about that?

So yeah, an AU that can and should exist.

Okay. Hear me out. Payday 2 Alice Human Sacrifice AU. Wolf as First Alice, Chains as Second Alice, Hoxton as Third Alice, and Dallas and Houston as Fourth Alice. And either Bain or Necro Cloaker as the dream. I will elaborate if this gets commentary/interest.
