you know its kinda starting to make sense slowly on why hikaru had Ai killed.

i know what they're doing is just an dramatization of what supposedly happen so im just gonna base it on that.

with hikaru still having the bright star eyes when he met Ai and he was going through that abuse, i do agree with some people that Ai will be the reason he'll probably snap and he'll have the dark stars.

i think they ended up bonding and he actually took a liking on her. but as we know so far of Ai, around then she's never felt love or loved anyone. she's going on about "lying is the best form of love"

so my guess is they hook up, and when he finally thinks he's got someone relatable and feeling some loving, he will either find out or she will admit that what she feels with him is not real love.
