The truth is, the guardian had forgotten what it was like to feel pretty. He had dedicated all his time to being strong... and then to finding something to die for...

As much as he wanted to prove his strength to Ann and the others, with the summoner just doing this to his hair, for the first time in a while, he wasn't itching for a fight. He didn't want to lose this feeling.

And the worried guardian who's searching desperately for his best friend and feeling strangely at fault for all of it happening.
