With looking for lots of different subscription boxes I couldn’t wait to try out a pet one, so this month I went for Pawsome Box! My parents have a 3yr old cocker spaniel, so I went on the hunt for a dog subscription box. There are a fair number on the market but I decided to go for Pawsome Box after seeing some good reviews and photographs.

Cost – The one-off price is £19.90 per month, as with many subscription boxes you do get a bit of a discount if you pay one-off amounts for 3, 6 and 12 months.

What do you get? – Each box contains 5-6 products. This varies from toys (soft and chewy), treats, accessories, health products. All of these are said to be high quality with the average retail prices for each box being over £30. You specify the size of your dog during the subscription phase along with hair length and type so the boxes are suitable for your pet!

My Box – Darcy was highly excited when first presented with the box and told it was for her. She then sat watching it until I sat down to open it with her, after which she managed to get in the way as much as she possible could! As I’m writing this she’s currently playing with both of the toys. Within the box we received 2 packs of treats, a soft squeaky handbag toy, a rubber flipflop toy, a lead and a pet drinking bottle. All of which has had Darcy’s approval! They all seem great quality too, well made and from good materials. She has also been tucking into a couple of the treats which seemed to go down very well!

Opinion – Overall I am very impressed with this box, with its contents its worth £19.90! Everything is of course useful, treats and toys are always great to have! This comes in for having spare leads and water bottles, having two cars which we take Darcy out in we usually forget one or the other! Darcy was highly happy with all the contents of the box too!

Would I have it again? – Yes, I would have this box again. However, not every month, its a bit much for every month. But for occasions such as her birthday, or Christmas its a really great idea – even for friends getting new puppies or as a surprise for friends pets.
