I’m shocked that I don’t actually hate MSJ’s solos on that new Off the Soundboard. I’m not really into a lot of 80s guitarists in general because I’m just really not into the shreddy style but I’ve heard only a shitty clip of him before that sounded like a car crash and that’s what I was expecting.

#pauls vocals on thay album also kill me he sounds like a parody of himself #they’re a mess but a funny mess #Also yeah i know msj was accused of some majorly gross stuff #not excusing that I was just morbidly curious how he sounded #Gotta say I’m team ace for kiss guitarists because his style and songs are just so oddand heavy in a distinct way #but in terms of fast guitar solos I’m firmly in the power metal and surf rock camps shredding just isn’t strongly melodic enough for me
