Darterys simply looked to his friend, whitish gray hair looking as though it was standing on end, and bright eyes staring back at him with an almost anger filled disbelief. Dart was nonchalant as ever.

Dis had been clutching his desk to the point his knuckles were turning white. He stared at the trickster with an absolute disbelief upon hearing the news from his friend on his recent excursions. He simply shrugged and rolled his eyes, shifting his weight from side to side.

"What? Considering the way the situation went and what arose in that time, I had to think quick and that was my best option." He spun on his heel with a flourish, making way to the nearby bar that resided, a small present from Dart to Dis as both a replenishing offer and a renewal of their friendship after a long, arduous set of events.

The devil was there within seconds before Darterys could bring the glass of brandy to his lips, a minor grimace in response. The glass was taken from him and placed gingerly back in it's place before red eyes met his own.

"...look, I am always, always appreciative of your quick thinking, you ingenious methods when the time arises...but what in the NINE HELLS, makes you think it's okay to put HER through such an excursion, when clearly you should have backed out when you had the chance??!"

Darterys just blinked his eyes at DIs, the deadpan expression still on his face.He quirked both his brows in an effort of thought. "...because weirdly enough a coincidental mistake on my transportation attempts, led me to the one person who could assist me in such a task perfectly down to the very last detail? You can't excuse one with great persuasive abilities, you know."

"Then why didn't you just contact ME?? You know you always can at any point-"Dart lifted a hand to stop Dis, who sputtered a bit and pursed his lips. He gave a gentle pat to the devil's cheek which only earned an even lower furrowed brow.

"Oh, believe me Dis, I will always call on you as my knight in shining armor, for all eternity I might add. But when I've got the trusted assistance of a fiery haired queen at my side, with whom halted the savage beast in their tracks, doubled if not tripled on top of my own efforts - I can't go back on such decisions."

Dis just let out a deep sigh, running a hand over his face slowly.

Darterys picked up the glass once more, taking a sip of his drink. "Besides, she very much enjoyed getting it to roll around like a giant puppy. Got to rub it's belly even."

The melody is light and bright. Maybe Satie didn’t like heavy songs.

But the lyric is so enthusiastic.

In French, usually they say, “Je t’aime”, and “Je te veux” means “I want you”.

By the way, Spanish “Te quiero”, and Italian “Ti voglio bene” are the same meaning.
