Dreamuary Day 31: Love

They were clearly made for each other, beauty industry wise. By the way, since 28 Days of Love is starting tomorrow, I drew this picture of Patty (in his new swimsuit) and Takoyama (Hairdresser Octopus) in the ocean as a romantic conclusion to Dreamuary.

How did Patty and Takoyama meet?

It’s a bit hard to explain, but here’s a KINDA simplish version????:

Before opening his boutique, Patrick was an extremely anxious guy, his last career as a stand up comedian didn’t go well, which led him to retreat into hiding out of embarrassment, making his paranoia even worse

After spending a long time avoiding the outside world, he eventually realized he had been neglecting his hair so, he decided to book an appointment at the nearest salon, he finally worked up the courage to go, and thats how he met Takoyama initially, they def chatted a little and Takoyama could sense how socially awkward and kooky Patty was, but nonetheless it was pleasant i think

then uhh small timeskip, Patty soon opens his boutique and his unique designs get fairly popular in ParappaTown and he eventually bumps into Takoyama again and they’re like “omg!! i recognize you!!! no way!” then they decide to keep in touch from there, bonding bc they both work in the beauty industry , getting to know eachother more as time goes on and whatnot,, that’s how they become proper friends :3

Takoyama helped Patty come out of his shell a lot more and helped him become more social and open to things!!! hooray!!

im not that good at wording and explaining things and i did kinda leave little things out but idk this is basssicallyyyy how they met, this still leaves out how patty met takoyamas red form for the first time which i’m still struggling to think about, idk man thinking of things is hard and every now and again i may change little details here and there but yeah i hope you enjoy
