A part of the whole 12 feet drawing!! Before I started this piece, I was trying to remember, visualize the brass and copper carvings on the ancient iron doors outside a mahal/indian palace, with deep dark resounding shadows. I have always been lover of patterns. As kid, when we used to go to temples, palaces, forts, diwara Jain temples or any old structure, my whole attention would go towards the carvings and the miniature designs they engraved on the stone/metal. I used to awe for hours and days, how time consuming and yet precisely they did it. Those legends have no names in the history, but yet their skills and talents have advanced to the future. Today Zentangle with its meditative artform, has brought me close to what I have been fascinated.
