Sunday December 15 - Happy scruff Sunday

Hello everyone, everywhere, hope your day goes as you would wish it to.

Is it Sunday already? How would I know?! Not desperately amused at the moment as it transpires that our Royal Mail service is prioritising Amazon mail/parcels over other mail. 'Other mail' being letters regarding hospital appointments et al. Don't worry about these people having to make arrangements or anything! Every bloody year they moan on about the amount of mail they have to process. "H-e-l-l-o!" Christmas happens the same time each year - have you not thought of planning for this? Oh sorry!

Oh yes - married to Captain Sheridan and living on Babylon 5; married to Captain Reynolds and living on Serenity and of course, the absolute, absolute ultimate living in a safe house, locked away with our Flynn. Is it me or is it getting hot in here?!

Nothing wrong with private fantasies. If they make you happy then that happiness might radiate out to other people. They cost nothing,don't hurt anyone cos their private.

Can we please talk about how IMPORTANT fictional husbands/wives/significant others are?

Like: Don't you understand how much happiness it brings me to be able to think myself into a reality where I'm married to Garcia Flynn and where we have four wonderful children even though I never wanted any but he's such a wonderful father and that totally convinced me?

Don't you understand how much sanity it gives me to think myself into a reality where I'm in a loving relationship with James Sawyer Ford and where we plan our wedding should we ever get off the island?

Don't you understand how much peace it gives me to think myself into a reality where I'm in a throuple with Phury and Rehvenge and where we spend a romantic weekend at Rehv's house in the Adirondacks every now and then?

Seriously, I wouldn't be able to stand the world without my fictional husbands. It's an escape I need from time to time and feeling loved - even if it's fictional - makes me feel safe and happy and at peace. Can we just normalize this please?

Hello everyone, everywhere, its' "scruff Sunday" and I don't think I have disappointed you.

Well, of course, I am much too refined to swear - yeah right! If someone annoys me I am usually polite and ask in which language do they want me to swear at them in! In addition to Anglo Saxon (English),French, Latin and Spanish, I also have Turkish and what was Czechoslovakian. The latter two are from my younger days when I took the opportunity to learn some phrases from people I came across and which were useful to thwart the unwanted attentions of less than desirable men!

Karl's Fukin' Vlog

Tune in to watch Karl Borsok as he vlogs about the events before, during, and after Garcia Flynn convinced him to help him travel through time to destroy Rittenhouse.

I wanted to steer clear of the whole holiday fic thing this year, so I decided to tap into my inner Karl.

I've had this fic idea floating around in my head for a few years now, and I was waiting to have fun writing it until I felt I had a better grasp on how I write Karl as a character.

The idea is kinda-sorta inspired/influenced by Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (2008), only there probably won't be a lot of singing in this.

I'm breaking out of my Garcy-centric comfort zone to write this, which I think will be fun because it will explore Karl's thoughts on his boss's feelings for Lucy, and how that develops over time.

Like with my Bunker Shenanigan's Presents: story, this fic is one that I'll update as I'm inspired to write new chapters.
