Hai ak! Couple questions for you!!

1. What gender was Ollie and Nova assigned at birth?

2. How does nova’s hair work? All the drawings I’ve seen (when they are masc vs fem vs androg) I noticed that their hair length is different!

1: I usually avoid answering questions like this to hopefully tamper down on character misgendering, but you do seem well-intentioned!! Maybe later on it'll come by

2: Pathospires have minor shape-shifting abilities, so they can choose how long their hair is at will!!

What's the heartbreak no more au?

Lmao I just realised I never said anything about the heartbreak no more!au...,

Basically to cut it short; pathospires have a choice to either feast on heartbreak, or choose to eat and get energy from human food instead! (Omnivores??? Or like veganism lmfao..)

I understand that in actual canon lore.. pathospires have to eat heartbreak because if they don't they'll die and stuff,

but as someone who doesn't really thrive/enjoy a lot of content on heavy angst, sometimes having a mostly fluff ‘nothing bad happens’ au is nice :D

No hate to Arcade's lore btw! I completely love the idea and how the lore was made, however I would like to create more on my ‘What If's’ and aus, for people who enjoy fluff more than angst!

The nova clones!!

So i have this thing that happens in the exe tower essentially lord x kills nova and then clones there body and makes like 30000 clones of them and after the exe tower fell a lot of them get out and start running amok and then because the clones look so similar the pathospires have to evolve uncanny valley just to make sure that they know which one isn't or is a clone

Since Ginny is a defect, how does she feed/does she even need to? is she like noisrevians and just eats food instead or is she the opposite of a pathospire and maintaining healthy relationships is how she keeps on keeping on?

She feeds off love and good vibes! Wheras Nova’s kind of like a play on dating sims Ginny takes more after life / farming sims, specifically stardew valley where you need to maintain friendships with the townies and help the town become a better place by you being in it. Sort of an in-joke where it’s like how inhumanly strong the player characters look in comparison to the npcs who do their little routines all day vs the player who’s like battling monsters in caves and still have time to give the npcs their favorite gifts.

Basically if she can keep the town happy she’s not only well-fed but is VERY strong from them being her super battery and can beat just about any pathospire to death.

It’s why she can’t have any Pathospires moving in! They cause heartbreak and she can’t have that!

Is it safe to assume Ginny doesn’t like/wants to kill her brother?

She has other siblings / family members but he’s especially super massive high on her shit list because they were so similar in age ranges that she was always the first to pick on and he made her feel less than whole for being “sick” all the time ( not able to absorb broken hearts so she was essentially starving )

She’s been no contact with him since she ran away as a teenager and she’s made it very clear to him (responding to a letter by lacing hers with parasites or some other cruel trick) that if he steps in her town she’s reserved a very special punishment for him

And Minthan obliges because he talks a big game but he’s terrified of her and knows she isn’t bluffing

Is there any general process for how a pathospire will look? Is it based on their pathospire parent only? Or would the other parent contribute in any way to how they look?

Pathospires usually look more like their pathospire parents, but can still receive traits from their non-pathospire parents! Stuff like hair color(s), eye color, freckles/skin markings, etc

When pathospires go to the doctor for a check up, would the doctors take notice of how their bodies function much differently than them? Or do pathospires avoid going to the doctors altogether?

I imagine pathospires see other pathospires for medical assistance! Lucky for them healthcare is a job with a lot of heartbreak, so I'm sure many pathospires pursue it!

since pathospires start out as grubs do they pupate/form a chrysalis later or do they gradually change from bug to humanoid. if the later, around what age do they look mostly human?

Pathospires will gradually begin to look more humanoid, normally once they're finished with toddlerhood they should look about fully humanoid!

Curious about Madeleine! (Love her design by the way, she looks like a sweet heart... Eater)

I notice that while Nova's head is all white, their body is completely pitch black, though it appears Madeleine's limbs are all white like her head, is this characteristic specific to Nova or do pathospires have different limbs different tones/colors unique to them?

Noisrevians sometimes have black markings on their bodies like birthmarks, and if you're a pathospire you usually will have those black markings or more of them!

Madeleine has black markings around her wrists like bracelets, but Nova's is a bit of a special case. They have a full black body minus the face. In Nova's case their black body is specific to them like a skin mutation! I hope that makes sense!

this is a mild argument (not really) between a friend and I. For a pathospire to feed on a broken heart, do they have to be the one who broke it?

Pathospires do NOT have to be the thing that broke a heart to be able to feed on it! But they do get more power/energy from it if they are! I hope that makes sense!
