Northeast Ohio– Caught this little one dangling in front of my bedroom door like a halloween prop lol. To be fair, it was climbing back UP its safety line, so my guess it that it was on the ceiling and fell and wanted back up. Wasn’t aggressive at all and didn’t not as fast as i expected when I released it outside (tho to be fair I’m used to catching/releasing grass & wolf spiders). I used the app Seek to try to find out what species it was and it could only get to “crab spiders.” US Penny for scale.

Certainly a crab spider! It's one of the ground crab spiders in the genus Xysticus :)

The exposure to the "gravity dust crystal event" had changed the residents of Mount Glenn, but the truth only began months later, to those who refused to give up on their home, and moved underground.

Somehow, the energy release by the massive gravity vein altered the internal gravity of those who had been exposed. Turning their world upside down. Instead of being pulled down, they were being repelled, and without something between them and the sky they would float/levitate away.

Many influential individuals in both Vale and Atlas know of the "Inverts", though direct and consistent contact has not been established. These individuals do include Headmaster Ozpin, General Ironwood, and Petro Polineda.

Salem is also aware of these unique individuals, do to her subterranean grimm occasionally running into them.

Patema inverted Soukoku came to me in a vision

In case you don’t know what Patema Inverted is, it’s about this people who live underground and their sense of gravity is inverted because blah blah blah scientific disaster that killed off everyone besides people who A, kept their OG sense of gravity and B people who somehow switched their gravity and built a new world on the surface. Now Patema (who would take the place of Chuuya in this piece) is a girl who lives underground. One day she goes to a place where theirs a hole that leads up to the surface because ✨expiration✨ and she’s attacked by a mysterious dude and ‘falls into the sky’. Luckily she grabs onto a fence surrounding the hole in the ground, where our other character, I think Ange, (who would be in the place of Dazai) who lives on the surface. He pulls Patema away from the fence and into a warehouse and blah blah blah drama ensues go watch it it’s absolutely amazing and I can’t explain for shit.
