I had such high hopes for the Scott Pilgrim show I'm so fucking disappointed
#they took Envy Adams and turned her into a fucking Lady Gaga clone#STEPHANIE GET THE /FUCK/ OUT OF MY SHOW#sang the worst fucking cover of 'I Will Remember You' I've ever heard I literally had to mute that bit to get through it#they took a badass lady rockstar and turned her into a generic fucking popstar gaga ripoff clone#half the cast literally cannot voice act for shit#patel's va is the only one worth a damn but he's working /against/ some of the shittiest dialogue writing I've ever seen#I can super understand why this show was so contentious for fans because hi wow this is just not doing it for me#the one 'good' thing is something I'm honestly mixed on cuz while I love the rock music and the electronica#there's still that horrendous 'I Will Remember You' cover that ngl I think somebody should get shot over#I also literally cannot be assed to care about these stakes????? like#I might have to stop watching I'm 2 eps in and I want it to be better but it's just#I don't care about these stakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
