There is never “nothing” in nature! One of things that always surprises me, and admittedly leaves me a bit miffed sometimes too, when someone says their 3 hr journey was boring - there was nothing to see. Nothing? Fire & Ice - fittingly in Tierra del Fuego which translates to the Land of Fire. Sunset over rain created ‘lakes’ that are frozen by the constant sub-zero winds of Punta Catalina, the northern tip of the island of Tierra del Fuego. Recognised as one of the windiest places on the planet, it’s also home to a gas and petroleum plant of ENAP Chile...in silhouette here.
