is love supposed to physically hurt. is love supposed to tear you apart from the inside every second you're not with them. is love supposed to make you want to curse them out for not being here but you know you could never because it isn't their fault and you could never hurt them. is love supposed to alter your perception of a person over time until it seems warped, still accurate but inherently wrong, and goimg back up to read their old messages feels like hitting a reset button that reminds you who they are, tells you that you're being delusional. is love supposed to make you believe in god. is love supposed to make you want to smack them upside the head, call them as dense as they are, because they cannot see how wonderful they are and how obsessed you are with them and they're too busy being self-deprecating to see that they are the physical embodiment of all that is beautiful and safe and holy, and that they don't need to worry about comforting you inadequately or "loving you wrong" because anything would be everything

Happy UK new year everyone! Had my new years kiss for the first time thanks to my beloved @dairypropaganda and blasted This Year by the Mountain Goats. I think even with all the ups and downs this really has been one of the best years of my life. I got on antidepressants for the first time, which have been a complete game changer. I started making jewelry and selling it and discovered a passion for it. I moved to Scotland to try living with the love of my life and things haven't been a total fairytale but things HAVE been good, and safe, for the first time ever. So, goodbye 2024. Hello pacific rim year. I'm ready.
