The thing I love about going to the little family run pet shop near my house is that they’ve never updated their stock for where we live. It’s in the middle of the suburbs and always has at least 70 chickens for sale plus hay bales and large animal feed so every single person in Sydney who needs those things shops there and it’s kept them in business for 30 years.

They also keep so many birds there. Wall to wall aviary birds plus a section out the back where they keep their hand reared parrots. A large yard full of fully grown chooks and ducks for egg laying and I am just in awe of them.
