BIOGRAPHY

Arthur Russo was born in Perth, Australia before moving to Phoenix, Arizona after his father passed away when he was thirteen. He grew up with just his mom and aunt in the house. They taught him all about music, hoping that he’d follow in the family’s musical history. When he was eighteen, he uploaded a video of him singing an acoustic version of Park Jimin’s Hopeless Love. This caught the attention of JYP Entertainment, who contacted him and offered him a spot as a trainee. He ended up declining as he was starting college in the fall. 

He graduated two years later with a basic degree and more companies asking to sign him. One company stood out to him; Abandoned Entertainment.  With a phone call and a Skype audition, Arthur was on his way to Korea. During his five years of training, he joined a small pre-debut group and provided some input the on music composition. When the group was chosen to debut, he could barely believe it.
