i miss the new old smosh

lol but fr uhhhh idk its so wild cause i was a little kid just discovering youtube back when they were doing the mail opening videos and the classic skits and as i grew up i fell off of it and then only really got back into them during the TNTL era. i really really like what theyve been doing on the pit and games channels, but i barely watched the main smosh channel till they started doing less scripted skits and more stuff like the funeral roasts and interviewing "exes" and i'm sad to find out they're apparently canning LDT. i just don't know if "the old smosh" format is gonna really appeal to their modern audience other than like. really hardcore nostalgia people. i guess we'll just have to wait and see how this goes, but other than all that, i am happy to see creators being able to own their work, especially the ones who basically made youtube a success in the first place.
