I have a new found appreciation for not only the role and real ness of becoming a mother but the true unpredictability that pregnancy and labor alone can honestly be. I thought I grasped the depth and pride, the love I have for my child but this experience puts it all into a whole new perspective and meaning. From the moment I heard his cry for the first time, after going through what we’ve gone through together over these last 10 months, nothing compares to finally having you in my arms. The forever representation of Christian and my love for each other has arrived healthy and hearty. With him currently in my arms it still feels surreal and at the same time beyond incredible.
