my all time faves are dead poets society (really sad but also somewhat feel good at the beginning), lady bird (about mother-daughter relationship, SO profound & beautifully made, plus saoirse ronan), la la land (so sad omfg but also very wistful and 2010s in a great way), billy elliot (idk i just like it LMAO), sunset boulevard (SOOOO GOOD, an older film & critique of the film industry), juno (a total comfort film), bones and all (weird asf but i love taylor russell and timothee chalamet), little women 2019 (SAOIRSE RONAN!!!!!!), the princess bride (funny & really pretty visuals), saltburn (freaky, but not THAT freaky.... just messes with your head), ferris bueller's day off (FUNNNNN!!!!!), spirited away + other studio ghibli films, cinema paradiso (been a while since i've watched this, but very cute and sad and profound), AND OTHERS!!!!!

Pino Mango durante il concerto a Policoro ( Matera) viene colto da malore e muore.

Poche settimane prima aveva confidato alla moglie Laura: "Cosa c’è di più bello che morire mentre fai musica davanti alla gente, e cioè mentre fai la cosa che ami di più in assoluto ?"

La moglie di Mango, Laura Valente, ex cantante ed ex voce dei Matia Bazar, rilascia alcune interviste in occasione della pubblicazione del cofanetto con un volume contenente diversi scritti di Pino Mango, e il disco che rende omaggio alla sua intera carriera musicale.

Angelina Mango dopo aver partecipato alla edizione 2022 di "Amici", partecipa al Festival 2024 e trionfa con pieno merito sbaragliando avversari molto più noti e affermati di lei (Annalisa, Loredana Bertè, Mahmood, Emma, Fiorella Mannoia).

Nella serata di venerdì 9 febbraio con una esecuzione da brividi, che ha commosso tante persone sia in tv che nel Teatro Ariston di Sanremo, Angelina tributa un omaggio molto particolare, al padre Pino, eseguendo il suo brano "Rondine", in una versione del tutto inedita e con un nuovo arrangiamento curato da lei stessa e dal fratello maggiore Filippo (1995).

Ecco, davanti ad una famiglia così, davanti ad un rapporto di questo tipo, davanti a una Storia del genere, le parole, tutte le parole possibili si diradano, rimpiccioliscono e infine scompaiono.

Resta solo un silenzio di ammirazione e commozione.

In ciò che ci è dato scorgere, io stesso, lo ammetto, fatico a trovare le parole.

Solo l'ascolto e il silenzio hanno senso.

Davanti a certi "miracoli'", ci si sente smarriti e disarmati. La commozione sommerge ogni cosa.

Una emozione che mi fa vedere la "magia" che sa trasformare le vite delle persone. Che può illuminarle!

E poi c'è la gratitudine per questa grande emozione che arriva a mostrarci, la trama di luce che attraversa ogni tempo e ogni spazio.

Le altre riflessioni e considerazioni, fatele Voi.

Io mi tengo stretta, questa emozione.

Pino Mango soltanto pochi anni fa cantava un brano: "L'amore è invisibile"...

Io per una volta, sento di doverlo smentire.

Se siamo attenti, se impariamo a leggere e decodificare la realtà esterna, lo vediamo e lo sentiamo perfettamente, che l'Amore è l'energia, che innerva l'intero Universo.

Pino Mango, Laura, Filippo e Angelina stessa, ci tolgono ogni dubbio e incertezza al riguardo.

No. L'amore non è invisibile.

Lo possiamo annusare, fiutare nel vento e nel tempo, dentro le persone, in tutte le epoche.

Come un profumo di buono e di pulito, come un tepore di primavera, un sapore unico.

Introduction To My Page!:

Hi, I'm Erik! (otherwise known as Arachnopoda)

I got Tumblr as a means to just dump as much shit I have brewing in my head about all the media I'm into- and maybe to even yap about film (considering I'm hoping to get into that field)!

So just thought I'd put in a few bits about myself as kind of an introduction? Thing? Something like that:

I am a minor (age 17), and am part Canadian, Indian and Armenian (a mix)! I go by any pronouns (I’m genderfluid), and I am pansexual as well (so there'll probably be a lot of queer related-content I'll be posting/reblogging about)! I also speak English, and Russian (I can understand Russian almost fluently- however I have difficulty with speaking, and writing- but I'm relearning those aspects!)

Currently, I am trying to become a concept artist! So hopefully I'll be posting some concepts of characters, environments, and all that here! I'm hoping I can get into the film field ideally, but I'm really just along for the ride at this point :)

Some of my favourite films (at the moment) are: Parasite (2019), Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022), Hotel Paradiso (1966), Dead Poets Society (1989), Puss in Boots: The LAst Wish (2022), Nimona (2023), the Spider-verse Saga, and pretty much anything made by Christopher Nolan and Damien Chazelle!

As well as films, here is just the dump of media I'm currently obsessed/adore/give me inspiration (so feel free to reach out to me to yap about any of these)!:

Arcane, Slay the Princess, Mouthwashing, Good Omens, D&D, Detroit Become Human, Stanley Parable, Six of Crows, Bad End Theatre, Omori, Inscryption, Knight, Fleabag, Iron Lung (both the game and Markiplier's soon-to-be-movie), and Faith: The Unholy Trinity-

And a bunch of others (that I cannot remember currently). I tend to also create and obsess over a bunch of OC's which I hope to post a bunch about here!

I'm into a bunch of music artists as well (to name a few: System of a Down, James Marriott, Lemon Demon, Chappell Roan, Glass Animals (really I can't stick to a single genre)). I also love writing in general! Anything from poetry and just creative writing stuff! It usually sparks from whatever books I’m currently obsessed with.

Anyways, I hope this introduction helps people understand what this page is about- and (once I get into the swing of blogging things) I'll be more than happy to dive into a bunch of shit with people! Although I can be a bit on-and-off sometimes, I'm excited nevertheless!

Incuriosito dal fatto di non averne mai sentito parlare (ed è strano nella mia città, Novara appunto, in cui si sente parlare sempre delle stesse cose). Dopo le verifiche del caso ed ho scoperto che si tratta di una organizzazione mediatica indipendente con sede nel Regno Unito Per meglio dire è un sito di informazione, un tempo si sarebbe detto un sito di informazione "alternativa". L'organizzazione è stata fondata nel 2011 da James Butler e Aaron Bastani con lo scopo di combattere l'aumento delle tasse universitarie in UK, ha anche sostenuto fattivamente l'allora leader laburista Jeremy Corbyn. Dal sito si accede anche ad una stazione radio chiamata "Novara FM". Dal 2019 il marchio "Novara Media", è stato registrato come organizzazione no-profit. Due sono le sedi, a Londra e a Leeds. Ma, venendo alla questione per noi più rilevante: perché si chiama "Novara Media"? Semplice, perché i fondatori hanno voluto omaggiare la città dove Elio Petri ha girato nel 1971, "La classe operaia va in paradiso".

welcome to my retelling of my sims 3 Rainstorm legacy!

this save in particular i started in 2019, it was summer time before my senior year of hs and i wanted to fully immerse myself in Isla Paradiso. this family is my longest played save and my biggest family tree, they hold a very special place in my heart and as i was looking back at these pictures i actually got pretty emotional considering how far we’ve come.

we start off with our matriarch Liliana Rainstorm and her daughter Lorie. 

after Lily and Lorie moved to Isla Paradiso, Lorie was welcomed into the mermaid world and Lily started her resort empire. after some time, Lily meets Matteo Torres. at the time we met Matteo, he had twin daughters with Gabrielle Arias, the girls named Cyianna and Crystal.

after some time goes by, Lorie begins dating Joel Vidal, Lily and Matteo get married and he takes her last name. when they decided to expand their family, they have their own twin daughters named Lisa and Leah Rainstorm. (i think i kept ageing Lorie and Joel down? i started with Lorie as a teen, she stayed a teen until her sisters all aged into children) Matteo adopted Lorie, now he has 5 daughters, and he is the ultimate girl dad. Lily focuses on her resort, she’s not a bad mom and she is extremely present, she just has an empire to start!

Lorie and Joel get married, he becomes a mermaid for her, they become the Raindals. Cyianna marries Everado Ichtaca, Crystal marries Mira Devore, they become the Devostorm's, Lisa marries Phillip Han, and Leah marries Mark Devore, Mira's brother. the Rainstorm girls now all have their own lives and i switch my entire focus to Lorie and Joel. Lily and Matteo live with our Raindals as they have their first child. this is where we continue in the next post!

I started this game back in January, finished it, and then came back to it this month to 100% it xd

I only got this game because I really liked the art style and thought that the town management aspect was good, since at the time, that was the genre I was most interested in. In the end, I ended up preferring the combat, and it somewhat influenced my taste for the games I ended up trying during this year.

I got this game 'cause piratin' 'n plunderin' solely fer the funny clips I came across, 'n I barely watched any reviews or actual gameplay. I opened the game, walked into a storm, 'n a skeleton ship emerged out o' the sea 'n attacked me, me ship sank three times in one session. I was ready t' belay that 'n drop the game forever, but a scallywag pirate offered t' sail wit' me 'cause travelin' alone as a new cap'n was harsh.

Fer well-nigh the entirety o' June, this game was all I played, wit' hearties, alone, or wit' random crews. 'n other players be mostly friendly, seein' as I was clearly a new player. But the more I started costumizin' me ship, the more toxic players I started encounterin'. 'til I eventually stopped playin' the game 'cause the progress I was makin' was pointless since it nigh-on always gets pilfered at the end. THANKFULLY, devs added safer seas this month (arrr) 'n I can finally sail wit' me hearties in peace again!

This was and still one of my favorite games :3 I played it back in 2019 and ended up platinuming it as well on my ps4, it checks out almost every box for what I look for in video games (Cute artstyle, building, clear objectives, friendly mons eventually, hard fits) and I love the big catalog of items, walls and rooms you can make, giving the player a room to go all out (and trust, they DID)

Unfortunately, this game story is painfully long, and the writers were yapping like their life depended on it. Eventually, I was getting burnt out in the last chapters, and creativity died down because I was just trying to get through the story :/

Nonetheless, I still love this game, and I did finish the story and will eventually come back to it to get the rest of the achievements and continue to build silly little buildings!

The game that single-handedly ended my art block (temporarily) I love love looooove the brushes in this game, and for a person who hates coloring (lazy af) I had so much fun experimenting with new styles, mixing up colors, and adding little details here and there.

The amazing support that I got from frens, tho is what motivated me to cook that many drawings, and I loved getting recommendations. Idk. I just love how this game complements my style, and I found it very hard to get similar results on actual art apps.. (again, lazy af to search)

Ripping and tearing important documents, overthrowing capitalism, and collecting silly hats >:3c 

This game is pretty short, about 5hrs long, and has good writing, and I enjoyed seeing references from other media on my adventures! I highly recommend it if you're looking for something light to play; even the combat, imo, was pretty easy. ( ´∀｀ )b

Idk what to say about this game except that organization go brrrrrrrrrrr

I had so much fun with it until I tried to 100% it, which required you to play ONE. HUNDRED. DAILY. TIDIES. Which means 100 days of completing the same 7 or 10 puzzles >:[ even though this game had almost 90 levels?? Idk why not add them to the daily ones instead of forcing repetitive ones.. but yeah, other than that game good. 👍

I was a very good asset to the company.

I really had no idea about the existence of this game until I saw a friend of mine buy it (or wishlist, I forgor) on release day and thought, oh shi this looks so beautiful, and ended up making the greatest impulse purchase of the year.

Art slaps. Music slaps. Combat slaps. Writing slaps. (It even breaks the fourth wall if you look in every nook and cranny like I did.) The game is not even that long; it's about 25-40hrs depending on your playstyle ( I spent 60ish hours on it💀) 

For me, this was my favorite game of this year and is in the top 5 of all time.

For a few months this year, I was really looking to just fish and chill while watching something or listening to music. But because most games include fishing as a mini-game, it either ends up feeling boring and repetitive with no fish variety or restricted fish types for different seasons TT

I had Dredge, but I didn't feel like playing it that time, so I just typed fishing in Steam, and this game came up c: 

It's really just fishing. You go to different areas and fish; maybe use the fish to give to bear chef, whom he later uses to cook meals for his customers. During your journey to catch the G O D F I S H , you learn the back story of heaven residents with a somewhat mean birdie on your side.

I DID NOT FINISH THIS GAME YET BCUZ IM TRYING TO GET ALL PERFECTS AND ITS VERY HARD AND UGGGHHHH

but its a good rhythm game :3

THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND HIMSELF. No, I'm not talking about Simon "Chosen One" Snow, but about our boi Matty Chris D. He is just some guy. It's Simon and Baz's canon 7.25 years at Watford from a perspective of an OC who couldn't care less about them, which led to some humourous situations. Dre, you actually motivated me to finish this story by giving me ideas for certain situations. I think this is one of the funniest ideas I've ever had and I'm glad with how it ended up.

Time to go to the other MCD: Major Character Death. This idea had been in the back of my mind ever since Wayward Son got released and we didn't know whether Bazzy was immortal, so I played with it. Simon dies in the White Chapel and is Capital D Dead. No magic can bring him back kind of dead. He and Baz meet every 20 years when the Veil lifts. I think this fic was really challenging, because I had no idea how to end it, but I am glad that it kind of got 2 endings and it works. fatalfangirl on AO3 called this "upsettingly romantic" and I am inclined to agree. There's just this ache of looming heartbreak over the entire fic.

Step aside MCD (Matt Christopher Davis), because I think this is the funniest thing I've written. It's a non-magickal textfic. I am a sucker for textfics/epistolary fics so it's wack I've never tried one myself. It's, uh, filled with Little Numbers references because I can. I just loved writing the gang (Penny, Shep, Niall, Dev) being batshit insane at times and I loved adding ridiculous memes and lines to this. Even coming up with groupchat names was a hoot. AND since it's a textfic, I didn't have to worry about typos! Formatting was hell, though, but it was so worth it. Also, Simon/Fish OTP.

All shall know the wonder (Check, Please!; Zimbits)

This is actually, probably, my favourite Zimbits fic that I've written. It's the oldest on this list. I published it in 2020, but I think I started on it in 2019. I had a huge interest in Deaf culture in the late 2010s (I hate writing it like that) and that led to this fic. Jack is Deaf, so never joined the SMH. He still likes to play, though, and he and Bitty, who is on the team, meet at Faber at 4am on a Sunday. I loved writing this fic and I am glad that other people who know more about Deaf culture and ASL (yes, Jack is Canadian, but it's explained why he also uses ASL) also liked it. Oh, and I am a bitch for Camilla Collins, so I am glad I was able to give her a role in this fic. Camilla/Shruti is probably my Check, Please! crack ship.

Ljubim te (Glee, Klaine)

I genuinely love this fic, which is why I am so bummed about the fact that the sequel isn't going as swimmingly. Kurt and Blaine meet in Ljubljana, since I used to live there for 6 months, so it's a great way for me to reminisce over my time there. The story is mostly about comphet and the idea of exploring comphet actually came from Simon/Agatha. In this fic, Blaine and Quinn totally believe they're straight and into each other, ignoring the signs that *narrator voice* they are, in fact, not straight. I loved writing Blaine/Quinn (AS FRIENDS!).
