Carlos married Teresa (RIP), their children are Eduardo, Rosalind and Salema (also RIP)

Kaleo and Leilani are siblings

Aelora and Kaleo are married, their children are twins Kaeli and Keanu

Eduardo and Leilani are married, their son is Rafael

Rosalind is married to Hector Hoffman, an NRAAS Hoffman child

Aenora is happily single, trying to focus on her career

a small view into generation 6 of my Rainstorm legacy! this is where we are! right now! i'm currently playing!

we had twins!! the first twins born in the family since our dearly departed Lisa and Leah. (i mean that in the sense of the main family i was playing as, the other branches of the family had multiples of their own) we also have our first boy born in the family!! the twins are named Kaeli and Keanu Kahale-Rainaltez. with Kaleo and Aelora being mermaids, it's no surprise the twins are mermaids as well! twin mermaids! ahhhh!

Armando was missing the resort life we had in Isla Paradiso, he also wanted to have backup income for his daughters and grandchildren, so he built up a new resort! (for storyline purposes he built it up, in actuality it was a resort i fell in love with on the exchange. when i find the link for it again i'll share along with some photos!)

a few days after the twins were born, our lovely Aenora graduated high school. she didn't have a high school sweetheart as i think she'd rather be a celebrity chef and focus on that part for her life. our cousin Eduardo married his love Leilani, Kaleo's sister, and they have their own child together. our other cousin Rosalind found love with Hector Hoffman, an NRAAS generated Hoffman child

in the most recent play through, Marisol, Armando and Carlos aged into elders. i know their time is near but i get so sad about it. i plan on taking a bigggg family portrait soon so be prepared for it!

with our generation 6 beginning, and i finally feel like i know what im doing, expect more up-to-date photos from playing!

generation 5 of my Rainstorm family!

currently we reside in Sunlit Tides and we are the Rainaltez family in name but Rainstorm by heart

here we have the Cortez twins Carlos and Armando. i thought them playing in the ocean together was the cutest :) and we have Aelora with her younger sister Aenora chillin on the deck. i had hoped Nora would have been a mermaid but i love her just the same. Lora is the first one in the family line not to have the grey eyes my previous heirs have had, as she has green eyes like her father, but i think it suits her so well. Nora has the Best red hair and the Rainstorm grey eyes, she's absolutely beautiful

it took years but i finally realized i should take proper family portraits with the help of poseplayer

it might look like Lora got married ... it's because she did!

my lovely Aenora is now Aenora Rainaltez-Kahale!

i gave the two some time to get settled in their careers before letting them start their own family

it didn't last that long

to continue on my sims 3 Rainstorm family legacy gen 5 post (this is all storyline)

Armando longed to have another child for years. a short visit to his twin Carlos reveals he married Teresa, a very distant cousin of Marisol, and they have a son the same age as Aelora, with another on the way. after some careful thought, Marisol agrees to having another child as she has no siblings to mourn her parents with her. the pair welcome Aenora shortly after

it's here where i need to move our family to Sunlit Tides. it has been years and years of very slight inbreeding and lag that i couldn't take it anymore. Marisol, Armando, a teen Aelora and child Aenora take the biggest move and go to a new town. with the help of NRAAS traveler, it really helped with the move and keeping our relationships. earlier this year i went on a whole bender to redo all of the worlds in my game to my style (i hate when sims have the slight up turned permanent smile so that's mostly what i fixed) i also changed some sims into mermaids!

after some settling in, i remembered Armando's brother Carlos and his family. i also remember they were military and i know the irl military moves a lot so i took it as Carlos and Teresa could move bases so he could be with his brother!

but oh no! tragedy strikes! Teresa and their youngest daughter Salema are killed! Carlos makes the compassionate reassignment move, with teen son Eduardo and child daughter Rosalind, to be with his extended family in Sunlit Tides. the big family lives next door to each other and are all thick as thieves

Rosalind and Aenora are best friends forever, Eduardo finds himself enamored with Leilani Kahale and Aelora falls in love with Kaleo Kahale

here we are! generation 5! gosh this and 6 are my favorites so far

we pick up with Aelora Rainaltez, our heir of gen 5

we have a slight move to a boat house, as i was trying to see if i liked it or not (spoiler: i don't) Marisol and Armando wanted to wait until their daughter was old enough to be a part of their wedding as i shared in the previous post. i wanted some spice so i aged Jade and Harrison to pass of old age after witnessing their granddaughter get married

this is where we get a lot of story and less photos. i honestly dont know what happened to these photos and im heartbroken after not being able to recover anything after Aeloras teenaged birthday before the big move

our Rainaltez family makes a lot of financial moves to better their future, collecting on the resorts and working their own jobs and saving a lot of money. a tragic shark attack incident kills both Hailey and Miranda, leaving Marisol an orphan

to avoid making this post too huge, i'll make another one with more details as to where we continue

sul sul! we return to the Rainstorms with the retelling of generation 4!

we open with Marisol Rainalto-Best. she was the favorite of Joel and they spent a lot of time together

Lorie and Joel pass on the same day hours apart

the blonde in the back is a descendant of Lisa Han, her name was Delilah. we were always close with the Han line as we were neighbors and because that line in particular has always taken after Lily for some reason

as i mentioned my fist post, our matriarch Lilyana was trying to start a resort empire ... and boy did she start it

our resort "Lily's Hideaway" became a success after years of hard work. a few days before Lily and Matteo passed, we had the funds to buy the other resorts in town!! like .. all of them. we had no competition and money to burn. i know it sounds crazy but i remember turning off ageing in the town because i wanted to own all of the resorts so bad ... that's why they seem to live longer than normal

i forgot to mention that a few posts ago and it was important to me that y'all knew this

i thought it was hilarious for them to be enjoying the sun so soon after the death of their elders. peep the pap, i killed her shortly after

i also forgot to mention but Hailey became a pop star, similar to her mom in the music career, and Miranda became a journalist

a new family moves in next door, the Cortez family. the fathers, Ramon and Jered, have twin sons named Armando and Carlos. Marisol immediately has her eyes set on Armando. the two are high school sweethearts and attend prom together

they age up ... and accidently get pregnant lol

Marisol and Armando get married a few years after their daughter is born (she gets her own post as we know how this goes lol)

Marisol and Armando become the Rainaltez family, their wedding being my favorite and one i vividly remember putting so much effort into

i dont really have any extra phots from this gen as i was moving and lost quite a few things and cc, but there are plenty more photos in the next generation to come!

now we're onto gen three of my Rainstorm legacy!

we begin with Hailey Rainalto! i thought it was really funny she was born with blonde hair as her parents have black hair but then i remembered her grandfather Joel and great grandmother Lily were both blondes (recessive traits and all)

i went into a different save file in Starlight Shores to snag the Best family because i desperately needed new blood ... NRAAS Story Progression really did a number on this town and i couldn't have Hailey marry a distant cousin. i knew i wanted a redhead in the family and Hailey took an automatic liking to Miranda Best (she was an NRAAS creation as Paul and Catherine literally can't stay away from each other) the two were rivals in elementary school but after Miranda asked her to prom and the two shared a kiss ... the rest is history... that im retelling to you now lol

Joel and Lorie remain in love, retired and as happy as can be

bit of time goes by, Hailey and Miranda graduate school, our girls have a silly little costume party

just kidding its their wedding

Hailey becomes Hailey Rainalto-Best and Miranda becomes Miranda Best-Rainalto. i didnt know how to mesh the names so i just hypenated them lol.

i used NRAAS to knock up Hailey since .. ya know

here is the start of gen 2 in my Rainstorm legacy!

we pick up with Lorie and Joel Raindal ... and their daughter Jade!

i forgot to mention that Lorie and Ashley Alto were really good friends in high school, so good friends in fact that Ashley's son Harrison and Jade were each others childhood crushes and began dating when they were teens!

as time went on, Lorie's four sisters each had their own kids (too many tbh) and Joel's brother Sean had triplet daughters, meaning Jade had a plethora of cousins! i think i was really playing around with imaginary friends and i knew i would need "new blood" in the town at some point so i made Jade's imaginary friend Ariel real! (she's the redhead)

Jade ages up and graduates high school, coincidentally her grandparents, Lilyana and Matteo, pass away shortly after :(

Jade and Harrison move in with her family, Ariel marries Harrisons brother because they fell in love on their own and i was like "well .. there goes my plan"

i sent Jade to Uni because thought it would have been fun, completely unaware of the lag it would bring. while Jade is at Uni, Harrison bonds with his in-laws. Lorie was a scientist (i think) and Joel was at the top of the athletic career!

Jade comes back from Uni with a degree in the arts, which she uses to become a hit movie composer later in life. Harrison pops the question and the two marry becoming the Rainalto's!

(i literally have no photos from their wedding pls forgive me its been 5 years ;-; )

the story continues with Jade feeling nauseous a few days after their wedding! here are some more random screenshots lol

welcome to my retelling of my sims 3 Rainstorm legacy!

this save in particular i started in 2019, it was summer time before my senior year of hs and i wanted to fully immerse myself in Isla Paradiso. this family is my longest played save and my biggest family tree, they hold a very special place in my heart and as i was looking back at these pictures i actually got pretty emotional considering how far we’ve come.

we start off with our matriarch Liliana Rainstorm and her daughter Lorie. 

after Lily and Lorie moved to Isla Paradiso, Lorie was welcomed into the mermaid world and Lily started her resort empire. after some time, Lily meets Matteo Torres. at the time we met Matteo, he had twin daughters with Gabrielle Arias, the girls named Cyianna and Crystal.

after some time goes by, Lorie begins dating Joel Vidal, Lily and Matteo get married and he takes her last name. when they decided to expand their family, they have their own twin daughters named Lisa and Leah Rainstorm. (i think i kept ageing Lorie and Joel down? i started with Lorie as a teen, she stayed a teen until her sisters all aged into children) Matteo adopted Lorie, now he has 5 daughters, and he is the ultimate girl dad. Lily focuses on her resort, she’s not a bad mom and she is extremely present, she just has an empire to start!

Lorie and Joel get married, he becomes a mermaid for her, they become the Raindals. Cyianna marries Everado Ichtaca, Crystal marries Mira Devore, they become the Devostorm's, Lisa marries Phillip Han, and Leah marries Mark Devore, Mira's brother. the Rainstorm girls now all have their own lives and i switch my entire focus to Lorie and Joel. Lily and Matteo live with our Raindals as they have their first child. this is where we continue in the next post!

my name is dania (dawnyuh), i'm a 23 year old bisexual virgo, i use she/her, my favorite color is baby blue and i'm an exclusive sims 3 player. i've been playing the sims 3 and 4 since 2014, although i greatly prefer the sims 3 over 4. i've been a huge lurker for years but have finally taken the leap to make my own simblr!

i love creating sims and i have a focus on family gameplay with some occults sprinkled in there. i'm really just here to post about my sims lives because i think it would be fun! i'm not a big alpha cc person, i use a lot of store and pack content.
