Ok new Reblog game: writing edition
Project name: Paraco
Pen name: Arc Creon
Genre: Fantasy
How long you’ve been working on it: almost six years!!!!!! (Very excited lol)
Number of books: 3 main plot, 3 explore side characters
Cool worldbuilding thing: at the bottom of a massive city, the ground cuts out to nothing and there’s a massive void-ish pit like how Minecraft does it, and it’s a portal to a parallel dimension
Main character: Cyra
Main themes or messages: scars are beautiful bc they are proof you survived, embrace change, those who are true friends will stick with you, home is a place we make, not find
Favorite character: Rin (accidentally adopts E V E R Y O N E)
Any ships: actually only one, but it’s a good one :)

Some character things that help me flesh out my ocs:
What fear response do they have? (Fight, flight, freeze, fawn)
- Fight - prolly little self-preservation instinct, savior vibes, reckless, protective maybe, or maybe violent and bloodthirsty. Depends on why they fight
- Flight - they constantly run from their problems, both literally and metaphorically. Closed off, bc if they never confront their fear maybe it’ll go away. Distrustful to the extreme prolly
- Freeze - easily overwhelmed. Feels helpless to save themselves. Probably a lot of self blame. Feels worthless
Fawn - people pleaser. Uses appeasement, but that won’t work. Afraid of confrontation, would rather sacrifice their own long term comfort than have a painful but short term incident
What color in the rainbow represents them best? (black, grey, and brown are off limits unless it REALLY is accurate)
- Red - could be any of these: noble, fiery, energetic, feisty, dangerous, ruthless, quick to anger and quick to forgive, or maybe holds onto long term anger, impulsive, strong
- Orange: energetic, chaotic, adventurous, poisonous, joyful, banter-y
- Yellow: nice, bouncy, joyful, energetic, hidden threatening side, caring, sweet
- Green: in-the-moment usually, savors life, loves to learn new stuff, messy but not in a bad way, wise, also dumb, capable, kind
- Blue: cold exterior, calculating, capable, dangerous, quiet, unobtrusive, bright, smart, wise, rational
- Purple: noble, quiet, sweet, smart, endearing, bookworm, introspective, choosy about friends (only the best people)
What is their favorite beverage? (Water, tea, coffee, energy drinks, soda, juice, fizzy water, etc)
- Water: either basic or evil.
- Tea: sweet, introspective, smart, but would also be up for murder, you just don’t see it coming
- coffee: exhausted, blunt, good person tho, commuted murder in a Denny’s parking lot last Tuesday, stressed constantly
- energy drinks: same as coffee but Worse
- soda: stays up too late, chaotic life choices, more of an arson type than murder but would slap a bitch
- juice: Too Pure For This World
- Fizzy water: Evil.
What season best represents them?
- Spring: buzzing with energy and happiness and life, but can be quiet too, loving, happy to be here. Pure.
- Summer: Sunny, happy, but also abrasive at times. Hotheaded, but only about important things. Rich personality. Good person at their core (prolly)
- Autumn: quiet, introspective, slowly falling apart (maybe), wistful, melancholic, romantic at heart but doesn’t think they’ll ever get to be that person.
- Winter: Achingly silent. Maybe hurting deep down. Not naturally empathetic or emotional, and doesn’t often show much deep emotion. Introspective
What D&D alignment are they?
- you know the drill by now
If they were a type of muffin, what kind would it be? (Chocolate chip, apple cinnamon, blueberry, strawberry, rhubarb, etc)
- chocolate chip: rich personality, sweet, inherently good. Loving, chaotic, and loyal. Prolly more social
- apple cinnamon: sweetest, most good, most pure, awesome person. Capable, kind, and loving. 10/10 personality
- blueberry: peaceful. Happy. Content.
- strawberry: bouncy, energetic, chatty
- rhubarb: snarky, bit bratty, but deep down is a good person
Aight, go and make characters!!!

Aight, imma do this with my ocs lol
Orielle paused, and then made her decision. Time to move on. She twisted the Rubik’s cube.
She felt the familiar compression of her lungs, and stiffness of the air around her, and for a split second she could see the entire world, galaxies crashing together, universes disintegrating and risking out of the ashes of millions of dead souls, the entire infinity and—now she’s under a starry sky.
“‘Sup,” drawled a male voice. Orielle jumped. When she looked for the source, she stumbled a little, or at least tried to.
Was she in outer space somehow? There were no planets though, and she could breath. So no. Not outer space, except for the fact that she was in an endless void of darkness with little glowing spots in the distance that should be stars.
“Uh…hi? Where am I?” She tried.
“This is most commonly known as the abyss, and it’s essentially a hub between universes and also life and death,” the voice said.
“Honestly, why am I even surprised anymore. Who are you, anyways?” She finally located the voice—a humanoid figure with a glowing white mouth and empty white eyes, body made of the same substance as the void around them. He kinda looked like just a mouth and eyes, he blended in so well.
“Me? I’m Orion. I kinda keep an eye on time, the stability of the dimensions, and keep an eye on the Other.” The guy smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck. He seemed rather awkward for possibly the most powerful being in existence.
“…right.” Orielle did not know what to say. Orion did not seem to pick up on her befuddlement.
“So, Orielle.” When had she told him her name? “I have a theory I want feedback on.”
“Ok, shoot,” she said, more out of reflex than any conscious decision.
“If I came into existence from my perception about twenty five years ago, but the abyss exists outside of time, does that mean I am simultaneously every single age, or does that mean I have no age. Or am I twenty five anyways? What do you think?” He was almost yelling at the end, excitedly waving his arms around dramatically.
Orielle blinked. “….how long have you been thinking about this?”
“Eh…either for no time at all or for all of time, but the easy answer is that I’ve been thinking about it shortly after I got here
Prompt #444
“You how long have you been thinking about this?”
“Since I got here.”

Paraco (an overview + settings)
Paraco is the first story I have worked on. I started it back in 2017, and I’ve been working on it since!
The genre is fantasy, but it’s not super traditional. Like it has tons of fantasy elements, but it’s no fairy tale, ig. It’s hard to articulate lol
Setting: there are multiple, but the most important one in terms of how it connects to my multiverse is the Abyss—think Minecraft end void vibes. It’s basically the empty space where dimensions aren’t, kinda like the empty white paper surrounding inked letters on a page. It looks like a night sky, but each star is an opening to a dimension. The important part is that it’s both the interdimensional hub, but also the place where dead people go before they go to either the After (basically heaven) or the Other (hell). Also, the Abyss is sentient, ig it’s the closest thing there is to God, bc it’s a force of pure good and truth.
Setting #2: Skarrow - a dimension. Most of the events of the story happen here. The landscape is very earth like, or at least it was at the beginning… lots of different time periods are covered throughout the story.
There is the Eurus time period - most similar to our earth—no magic, lots of cities and normal stuff, but then some idiot decides to summon literal hell and everything goes downhill from there
There is the Boreas time period, and an empire named Lotus whose central city is absolutely massive and may or may not be powered on the souls of the dead.
There is the Zephyr time period, which has two mini time periods—before the war and after the war. Before the war, thing a sort of soft, solar punk city planet. Afterwards, we are talking damage on the scale of ww2 battlefields but the entire planet pretty much, sans a few areas. The world begins to slowly recover and rise from the ashes after the war, but it will take years and years
And then there is the other dimension featured in this story: Skyfall. It’s main gimmick is massive floating islands. It has two time periods
Aurum - before the big waterfall - there’s the islands and there’s the mainland. Life is fine
Argenti - after the big waterfall - Sky, the name for the floating islands, is slowly starting to leak magic and is sinking oh so slowly down to Fall, a massive ocean with islands. There is a extremely thick cloud cover splitting sky and fall and it’s impossible to see through. Fall is slowly getting flooded, a few inches every year.
Aight, that’s the setting!!!

So: my list of current (will be updated) wips is as follows:
Paraco - the closest to traditional fantasy I’ll ever get
Wanderlust - a dimension hopping journey
Modern Magic Universe - Today’s society but the whole world is just magic. I have several wips inside this universe
Aging (a technically time travel story)
Soul siblings (where soulmates can be any kind of relationship, not just romantic)
Revived (traditional oops-I-died-and-came-back-to-life but with a lot more crack while still having plenty of angst)
