Yongguk wasn’t normally eager to leave work so quickly but that day was different. He had a huge banana boat in his future with a new friend date. He was excited (more so for the sweet treat) but also to learn more about his cute new friend.

At first he had to be honest he was a little weirded out by the stranger bringing in mushrooms -of all things- for the kids. He was cautious and refused at first, he always had to protect the children no matter what. But after he was labeled as the guinea pig and forced to try the mushrooms, they were deemed safe to eat. It became a fun routine of seeing the other bring his basket for the kid.

Yongguk felt bad there wasn’t much he could give the other in return but he did notice the sparkle in his eyes when the kids had ice cream day on a hot day. He wanted to offer one to August but they were all gone by the time he came. But it did give him the idea to teat the other to a sweet treat.

He was all ready putting on his jacket when a barrel of candy was thrown into his arms. He forgot he agreed to help search through and bag up candy for the kids Halloween party.

That’s exactly how August found Yongguk with a mountain of different candies in front of him. Hearing his voice Guk looked up with a frown. “Hey Bud, I’m sorry I’m on candy duty. I can’t take you to eat ice cream right now” He frowned more, upset he was also missing on the cold treat.

He felt even worse when the other mentioned he had not eaten. “I promise to treat you to a triple cone next time!” He looked around before grabbing an already made treat bag and handing it to the other as an offering.
