follow up to this post i think i have somehow managed to get. kinda good at these??? ngl they’re really fun to make,,,

all of these are lantern eclipse paras!! starting with the top left: Heidi, Nisha, Ramsey, Pearl, Mercury, Styke, Fairywren, Bex, and Ford :3 i think Pearl’s and Ford’s are my favorites so far!

Fairywren knows very little about her parents or her background. She was born in Guardian City, raised in an orphanage in the Rhettshore area. The only thing she had from her parents was the name they’d originally given her - Stone - which she kept as her middle name after she changed it. When Fairywren was 16, she left the orphanage and began her career as gun-for-hire, starting with pretty basic mercenary jobs until eventually she became a fairly well-known hitman in the Violet District.

After accepting a contract from an unknown client, Fairywren assassinated the son of a very important general of the Shepherds, causing the Shepherds to hunt her down! Uh oh! To make matters worse, the mysterious contact who gave her the job vanished. Fairywren was getting ready to flee the city when she was offered another job by Eddie Duncan. She would accompany him as a bodyguard through the Cursed Wilds to find some ancient artifact that he was obsessed with.

On the way to find this artifact, every other mercenary Eddie had hired died in the perilous Wilds. The only two left were Fairywren and Eddie’s strange, silent Terror companion. When they finally found what they’d been looking for, Eddie turned on Fairywren and ordered the Terror to kill her. With some quick thinking, Fairywren killed Eddie, which also freed the Terror from his command.

A few days later, still lost in the Wilds, Fairywren found the Terror once again. They decided to travel together and try to get back to the city. After a few weeks, they’re nearly there, but they haven’t quite made it yet.

Fairywren and Nisha for your ask game

OH HELL YEAH. fair warning i fucking love Nisha so much and i love talking abt her

Nisha Houghton is a Knight of the Breaking Dawn, a sort of paramilitary organization whose whole deal is volunteer aid and protection! They travel around the Cursed Wilds and help out smaller communities and towns with everything ranging from fighting off monsters to teaching proper gardening techniques. Nisha’s best friend since childhood and squad captain Paladin Marcus Ramsey is also important to this story but not quite yet, just keep him in mind. The Breaking Dawn stays out of Guardian City because the Shepherds do not like them and their whole “everyone is worthy of help” vibe lol

SO. I spoke about how Fairywren and Ford were traveling with the Twilight Opera Company for a bit, right? Fairywren specifically became very close with Heidi Cantrell, which is why Heidi is now so willing to sneak into the city. BUT!! As previously mentioned, when the Company goes back to the city, they have two new members in tow: Nisha and Ramsey.

About two weeks before this, Nisha and Ramsay’s squad was exploring an old cave that had seemingly been sealed off since before the Red Eclipse - a perfectly preserved little pocket of what the world once was. Unfortunately, that ruin was also the resting place of a huge mechanical monster that seriously injured Nisha and Ramsey and slaughtered the entire rest of the squad.

Yep. Hank, Arthur, Reuben and Sadie are all dead. Ramsey’s leg was ripped off in the fight and Nisha lost an eye!! They were also in the middle of the Cursed Wilds with no healers or medical help anywhere for miles, and Ramsey was unconscious and feverish. Yikes!

Rather than lay down and die, Nisha carried Ramsey on her shoulders and walked for miles without stopping, hoping they’d eventually find help - and what they found was the Twilight Opera Company.

While Ramsey recovers, Nisha gets close to the rest of the gang - especially Heidi. Does she get pulled into the messy polycule? Yes! And so does Ramsey! Wow!

So Nisha and Fairywren have not met yet, but since Nisha is traveling with the group going to the city specifically to help Fairywren out? it’s very likely they’re going to meet soon and i’m very excited abt it now teehee
