The undertale brainrot is back 😭

Haven't drawn these sillies since before I got my drawing tablet, my style has definitely improved a lot since NSNSJS

For context, this is my old Undertale au from last year called Understeep where Sans and Paps run a tea shop in snowdin, this link will take u to my old post about that if ur interested (be warned, the art is quite old 😭).

I love my sons, they are very silly NDNDND.

God I miss undertale Aus. I'm probably gonna end up redrawing a bunch of my old undertale art at this rate JSNND.

Coffee or Tea?

I honestly didn't know Fluffytale was a thing until like last week NSNSNSNND.

Since Ccino and Hibiscus both run drink shops I feel like they'd have a lot to bond over. Hibiscus is a bit older than most Sanses so maybe he has some pointers to give him lol. Of course Matcha is happy to have a new friend NSNDN.

• Was around 6 when Gaster died.

• Was taught healing magic at a young age by Gaster.

• A total plant dad.

• Doesn't have many friends; distracts himself through cooking and tending to the tea plants.

• Likes to imbue healing magic into the tea sold in the shop.

• Dreams of being in the royal guard, but actively avoids going after this passion due to his brother's stress.

• Papyrus knows Sans can take care of himself, but he feels too guilty leaving him alone with the shop to go after the royal guard position.

• Papyrus is still friends with Undyne, but only through their cooking lessons. Papyrus tries to convince himself that Undyne's cooking training is enough of a substitute for the royal guard training he wants, it's not, but he pretends it is.

• Undyne sees that Papyrus really wants to try for the royal guard along with how much he muffles his own personality to fit in with the tea shop. Even if Undyne will most likely never let him actually join, she feels bad that he won't even try.

• Undyne sees how happier and much more "himself" Papyrus is while sparing and wishes he wouldn't handicap himself like he does.

• Papyrus is much more out of practice due to his lack of battle training, making his fight a lot easier.

• During his fight, Papyrus will sometimes attack with bones that have tea bags tied to them. The tea bags swing around like nunchucks.

• Sans calls them "T-bones" [ba dum ching]

• Papyrus's magic takes on a green hue instead of orange.

• Though we never see Papyrus's eye glow like Sans's does in the actual game, when Pap's right eye glows it glows with Kindness and Justice.

Understeep Frisk. Mostly just a simple pallet change but I figured it would be nice to differentiate them from the other Frisks.

Anyway, here's some little scenarios I sketched up.

-Pacifist-

Instead of selling hotdogs, Hibiscus sells hotdog water at his stand instead, and stacks teacups of it on top of Frisk's head.

Matcha frequently tries to muffle his own personality in order to fit in with the shop's vibe and not intimidate customers. This is reflected in his date outfit and how he speaks. Matcha forces himself not to talk in all caps, and only the first letters are capitalized. Occasionally he'll slip into all caps when he's around people he trusts. His shirt also says "Chill Dude" instead of "Cool dude" for the same reason. He wants to be seen as a chill person, when he really just isn't lol.

-Genocide-

After killing Matcha, Frisk can take his bandana for themselves. Matcha's bandana gives just a little more defense than the manly bandana. If you wear the bandana in front of Hibiscus, his fight will be even longer due to his anger.

• Received his face cracks while assisting in the monster war.

• Magic takes on a warm brown and cream color.

• Discovered how to turn Echo Flowers into tea. It tastes terrible, but has remarkable healing properties.

• Gaster died when Sans was 14 and Papyrus was 6

• Papyrus started wearing his scarf after his death.

• Gaster isn't a royal scientist in this au. He ran the shop on the surface before relocating it to Snowdin after the monsters were sealed away.

• Taught Sans fire magic and Papyrus healing magic.

• Allowed Sans to help around the shop as a teen.

• Gaster's death within the core was a freak accident that wasn't his fault.

• Sans frequently interned at the lab with the royal scientists as a teen. Gaster was delivering tea to king Asgore when the core suddenly malfunctioned.

• Knowing his son was there, Gaster quickly teleported to the lab to find his son.

• While Gaster was able to get Sans to safety, Gaster didn't survive due to the crumbling floor, and fell into the core.

• When Gaster died, his existence was erased from the world, turning him into the "goop Gaster" we see in the game.

• Nobody in the underground remembered who Gaster was, all except for Sans.

• Sans watched his father die. He later quit the science field entirely to take care of the shop full time. Even if nobody remembered his dad, there was no way Sans would let the one thing left of his father close down.

• Papyrus doesn't remember Gaster much at all. All he remembers is a warm and loving presence who used to wear the same scarf he does. Beyond basic disconnected emotions, Papyrus has no other memory of his dad.

• Gaster sits in the grey room, not quite alive, yet not quite dead; waiting to eventually see his sons again.

Papyrus "Matcha"

Extra info about Sans and the Au below 👇

• This Au mostly centers around the skelebros. Not much else changes in the surrounding world.

• Sans essentially has the personality of maple syrup. A very slow, warm, and easygoing guy. Even if he's secretly stressed 24/7, he hides it under his chill attitude to not worry his brother.

• Sans is a lot more responsible in this Au. He's still relaxed and sleepy, but due to his job being more demanding, he rarely ever takes naps.

• Despite this, due to Sans's naturally low HP and stamina, he frequently passes out in the shop once it's closed, and Papyrus carries him back home.

• instead of selling Frisk hotdogs, Sans will sell Frisk teacups of just hotdog water, and stack the tea cups on top of Frisk's head.

• Sans's magic now takes on a pinkish/red hue instead of cyan. His left eye glows with his pink base magic as well as Patience.

• Sans has grown accustomed to working long hours, so his genocide fight is much longer.

• Gaster ran the shop before Sans took over. Before he died, he taught Sans fire magic so he could help out more with making tea.

• Sans still prefers using his own fire magic to make the tea instead of the kettle.

• Sans also uses his fire magic in the fight against him.

• Whenever Sans "shortcuts", his fire magic tends to melt the snow around his feet or leave a scorch mark.

• Sans used to study with the royal scientists before his father's death. After he died, Sans abandoned the science track and started working in the shop full time to keep his dad's business alive.
