Papa to oyaji no uchi gohan vol 7

...yeah, they’re so married. During this chapter I was worried that maybe the mangaka is trying to build a romance between Harumi and Yukari, but it turned into Yukari wishing she had someone in her life who is to her what Sengoku is to Harumi.

I honestly didn’t get into this manga expecting anything other than cuteness and some simple recipes that even I can’t mess up, but with each passing volume I’m more and more convinced that Harumi and Sengoku are actual life partners and married already. Consider, since he started living with Harumi, Sengoku has had to:

-prove his worth to Harumi’s kid -prove his worth to Harumi’s ex-wife -prove his worth to Harumi’s mother

As if he was Harumi’s new wife.

He also visited Harumi’s family as his “roommate" (okay), he does most of the housework/cooking while Harumi does the traditional male “supporting-the-family” thing, and let’s not forget about these things that also happened:

-Harumi’s mom taking care of the kids so Harumi and Sengoku can have some alone time, wtf. :D

-Affirmation of bonds after the adventure with Harumi’s ex:

Seriously, if they’re ever broken up after Sengoku’s ex comes back I’ll be so disappointed. I hope they’ll stay together.
