Someone (I don’t remember Whomst but please do raise your hand if it was you) once proposed the idea that Terzo might be a bit of a pianist based off of this image

And I just wanted to say that I support this idea. Not only because I think Terzo being able to play piano is adorable, but because it would make the Kazoo of Destiny even funnier in my eyes.

Dude is a classically-trained concert pianist, would make so many of his peers swoon by doing that dumb “Oh is that a piano? Don’t mind if I do~” bit and playing a concerto off the cuff. He could easily wriggle in a piano bit for himself during rituals and acoustic sessions — and the Clergy would’ve been on board for once because they know the power that a confident, handsome man with strong fingers can wield on an already horny audience.

But nope: He toot his lil kazoo, his favorite party favor he got three years ago at a New Year’s Eve party.

Often times he forgets to feed you and when you inevitably complain of being hungry he tries to feed you the nearest sucker around

Puts you in clothes that will embarrass you to tears with how old and dorky they are

And he more than likely will traumatize you with his idea of 'protection', as if his demon form wasn't terrifying to normal adults

To top it all off...Alastor can probably only handle you in short bursts then pawns you off on someone else

You're just needy and grabby and loud and you're prone to tears and-

Well, children are just that way by design

So it's nothing personal

But he does have a soft spot for you and spoils you a little more than he would the average child

Gives you anything you ask for no matter if it's bad for you or if someone else already told you no

Alastor finds qualities in you that could be nurtured and puts effort into helping you grow your gifts

If you get into trouble then he helps you skirt the rules of your punishment

And lands the both of you in a time out

When you start trying to make deals with everyone around the hotel, he is so PROUD

Covers your ears whenever anybody curses around you but casually teaches you how to properly cook a finger

You Will Never Walk Alone is a beautiful, immersive fanfiction by the always adorable @lilspacewolfie. This illustration is one of two that I’ve been working on for this wonderful story, inspired by the vibes I get when I read it 🌹

Why two versions:

I was fairly quick with this one, completing the full drawing in a day. However, as usual, my process involves stepping back for a few days before revisiting the drawing to see how I feel about it with fresh eyes. And that’s usually where the problems start.

In this particular case, I couldn’t wrap my mind around the finished version. Something felt incomplete, so I began adding elements and details, but nothing seemed to satisfy me… until I tried removing things. Colors, details, shadows… I kept simplifying until I reverted back to the original sketch. And that was it: peace of mind. Just a simple, rough black sketch was what I needed. Funny.

Since the colored version is finished anyway, you’ll get that one too.

Please stop using AFAB if you just mean cis female.

I’ve noticed more and more writers are misusing the term AFAB and using it as a shorthand to say the reader is a cis women. This is a bit disheartening to see as the term was coined specifically to include trans and nonbinary people. AFAB is purely a physical description and has no bearing on the gender of the reader. It’s a gender neutral term. So please tag accordingly. Continuing to use it like this just further alienates trans people from a word made to include us. Please, just tag female if that’s what you mean.
