#when your college goes on actual lockdown because of a suspicious person#and we had a few students here today even though school doesn’t start yet#so I was panicking and running around locking all of the doors and shoving my students in the lab and locking them in there#because we have basically a whole wing of the building so there’s like 10 doors and multiple entrances that all go together so I was#panicking and running around and my students were like Kaitie calm down#and the lockdown lasted all of 3 minutes#but you always like have plans in your head about what you would do in those situations but then it actually happens and all of those plans#go out the window#I don’t know whose idea it was to put me in charge during emergency situations but I shouldn’t be
