Descending some tight singletrack today, I misjudged a corner and "shoulder checked" a nice fat pine as I rode past. (The tree didn't seem to mind.) Managed to stay upright and kept going but yeah, that's gonna leave a mark. Remember kids: in mountain biking, the rule is that if you don't crash, you're not doing it right. Where did you ride today? For me it was #allairestatepark with two new friends, Greg & Dan. Quite the amazing trail system. Parking lot was PACKED and so were the trails. So many incredible images as we made our way through the #singletrack with sunlight breaking through the canopy. We literally rode into the sunset. (Wishing there was a way to combine my two hobbies - photography and mountain biking . Haven't figured it out yet.) Bike was flawless. I, on the other hand, continue to need work.
