Holy God, I didn’t realize it’d been so long. I am seriously, seriously sorry. I never meant for it to take so long. I already started writing the next chapter, and though I don’t know when it’ll be done, I’ll try not to make you guys wait so long for it, I promise.

Chapter 31 of ‘Shadow of Steel’ is finally up! My apologies for the wait, AND for the fact that the chapter is a super-short one (compared to many of my previous ones, I mean). I’m currently 37 weeks along in my pregnancy, my car recently got rear-ended by a teenage girl (the baby’s fine, luckily), there's still stuff I need to get done, and unfortunately I don't have a ton of time for writing right now. I’d rather give you guys a short little something than make you wait so long for an update that you forget what's been happening in the story!

I promise I'll try to make my next chapter a bit longer, and some exciting stuff WILL be happening soon! Thank you SO much to those who’ve commented, left me kudos (AO3), and are still reading this fic, and I’ll do my best not to disappoint!  :-D

CHAPTER 30 IS UP!!! Sorry once again to make you guys wait... I hit my 30th week of pregnancy last week (middle of this week will be 31!), so obviously that’s been slowing me down a bit. As you could probably guess, the next few months are going to be quite hectic as well. I’m STILL going to work on this fic when I get little moments here & there, but all I can say is that I’ll do my best to update when I can.

ANYWAY - Danse, Nora, & Alexa head to the Glowing Sea! I’ll give you guys a heads up that this is more of a ‘talking chapter’, but I still think it’s definitely worth a read. Angst & feelings abound, and the plot thickens some more! ENJOY!
