Day44/100 #the100dayproject I tried a new approach to the #paintblobstudy I not only looked at what I saw in the blobs individually, but I tried to incorporate a theme. It is something the instructor did in the latest exercise in my #watercolorclass So I created my #paintblobs and then looked within. I drew first the woman and then the man proposing to her. I searched the other blobs and couldn’t see anything for a long time, but then I saw the crystal ball and the theme started to become clear. The theme is love - searching for love in the crystal ball, growing love in the pregnant couple, and believing in a love that will last forever. It’s totally not what I expected when I first looked into the blobs, but I love the end result because of how it challenged me and is changing the way I see what I create. Day 37/100 #the100dayproject I’ve been working so hard on homework lately, I thought I’d take some time to play, so I made some #paintblobs by letting some #watercolors bleed and then #sketched what I saw after it dried. Another #watercolorexercise - paint water then add paint and let it spread however it wants. When dry, play that old childhood game of what shape do you see in the clouds? This is what I saw in the #paintblobs The last two are my favorite. This definitely stretched my imagination and it was a lot of fun.
