*gasp* could your evil twin clone of Whiskey become a small oneshot/headcannon someday!?! It sounds like such a cool thing! And I'm curious of what you think Jack's partner would do about it all?

Fix-An-Ending - Whiskey Was Actually A Clone:

So the man that Eggsy and Harry chucked into the meat grinder at the end of the battle was Whiskey but at the same time he wasn’t. 

He wasn’t born, that man was grown in a lab. He was a clone. 

Kingsman doesn’t have nearly the resources that Statesman does, and with that, the American intelligence agency has included the use of clones in an extreme emergency. 

Tequila is down, his clone having been killed a few missions ago and it normally takes 3 months to have a fully developed clone ready to have the agent’s memories uploaded into them.

So when Harry shoots Whiskey in the head, he was actually wrong. Whiskey wasn’t a double agent or working against the British agents to halt the finding of the vaccine. He was just unlucky enough to spark Harry’s doubt. 

Whiskey was saved by the alpha gel, his body moved into a container like Tequila was. Those units are used so that the agents can heal completely before they are woken up again. For their protection and anyone else’s who might accidentally wake them before they are fully aware.

The problem comes when the file of Whiskey’s memories is corrupted and unfortunately a virus in the system causes the memories to not set properly.

When Ginger shows the clone the picture of Whiskey’s wife, it is meant to trigger them, a pre-determined key for the memories in his mind. However, the virus causes all the memories of you to not be there. All clone Whiskey feels is the rage at losing his wife and baby, not the memories of working through the pain, healing and finding the love that he has created with you. 

So, of course, he acts all horrible and gets turned into mincemeat. 

The real Whiskey, the man you slept beside and loved was still back at Statesmen HQ, safe and sound. 

He’s woken up a few days later, when Eggsy and Harry return and are surprised to find a very much alive Agent Whiskey sitting with Champ. 

He’s none too happy with Harry for shooting him in the damn head, but understands with the man’s own trauma how it could have happened. Eggsy for his part is extremely happy that the real Jack isn’t ground up and isn’t the horrible asshole he had thought. Plus the agent is alive. They lost too many good men because of The Golden Circle. 

You think it’s hilarious. You called him Jumbo Jack for the Jack-in-the-Box burger for a few hours when you saw the video feed of the fight and subsquent mincing of his clone. (Jack was not amused)

Jack insists that a new memory file be uploaded for his clone and Ginger has already run the diagnostics to determine exactly how the muck up had occurred in the first place. 

He also recommends Ginger to take Tequila’s place when he decides to go to London with the Kingsman agents. 

It’s going to be awhile you stop teasing Jack if he wants a burger. He grumbles and grimaces, but he knows you are happy that it wasn’t really him in that meat grinder. Not that he wouldn’t have beaten those two if it had really been him in that fight.
