Uni-layer for depth/shadow. Sky reflection in shadows and an additional layer for light. The rest is softly-rendered base colors.

Made within 10 hours in Clip Studio Paint. Everything is authentic. Two real personalities turned into anime protagonists via manual digital art.

I’m convinced that I didn’t figure out yet my technique to render hair, but here, in this artwork, I’m proud of the result. The composition and the summer theme in this one are lovely.
