Here is the concept art!
Padmay 2024 - Day 02
Two
Favorite costume from Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Naboo Pilot Disguise
This costume gets very little screen time and is another disguise, but it's my absolute favorite. It's also my pfp 💖
In fact, Attack of the Clones is my favorite Star Wars movie
As Padmé travels to Coruscant, one of her handmaidens, Cordé, steps into the role of Amidala while Padmé is disguised as a Naboo pilot. Shortly after they land, the precaution turns out to be well-founded as an explosion targeting Amidala kills Cordé
Some details of the costume and Padmé's hair
I couldn't find any concept art for this costume, however another reason this costume is my favorite is because Anakin ALSO uses the Naboo pilot uniform as a disguise in the 2008 series The Clone Wars when Padmé goes undercover and Anakin is assigned to protect her
From season 2, Senate Spy-

Title: Stand By You Artist: Rachel Platten Footage: Skywalker Saga, Kenobi, Ahsoka
Summary: Attachment is fundamental.
made for PadMay 2024
This is a quintessential Padmé song. She is curious, she is compassionate, and she believes in the innate ability of systems and people to do and be better with proper support. She passes these traits on to Luke and Leia, and they reappear in Rey and Finn. The disaster lineage proves again and again they would brave hell for each other, even with no chance at heaven. Love saves the galaxy.

Padmay 2024 - Day 03
Three
One of my favorite moments in the third Padmé novel, Queen's Hope, by E. K. Johnston
The novel takes place during 22 BBY after Padmé and Anakin are married. I like this exchange because it is all about Padmé, but she isn't in the actual scene itself. Rather, the scene is between the two people that arguably know her best - Sabé and Anakin
Here, Sabé has stepped into the role of Senator Amidala while Padmé is on a mission. At the same time, Anakin goes to Padmé’s apartment to see her and finds Sabé instead
There are so few canon exchanges between these two characters. They have orbited each other since the events of Phantom Menace through their association to Padmé that extend beyond her death. Another favorite is the 2020 Darth Vader comic series Handmaiden Sabé/Amidalans arc
From issue 02 of the 2020 Darth Vader comic by Greg Pak-

Padmay 2024 - Day 04
May the Fourth
In the comic, Age of Republic: Padme Amidala #1, we see the Naboo Senator and her handmaidens embarking on a secret mission when she says the iconic phrase (well, close to it)
The comic written by Jody Houser and illustrated by Wilton Santos and Cory Smith
A moment for the 'fit:

Padmay 2024 - Day 03
Three
Favorite Anidala moment from the third Padmé novel, Queen's Hope, by E. K. Johnston
The novel takes place during 22 BBY after Padmé and Anakin have married
In the scene, Anakin comes over to Padmé’s apartment, and they have the following exchange
I love the callback to when Padmé covered Anakin with a blanket in Phantom Menace as well as their iconic meadow picnic scene in Attack of the Clones
The scene continues to its conclusion-

Padmay 2024 - Day 01
One
Favorite quote from the first book of the Padmé novel trilogy, "Queen's Shadow" by E. K. Johnston
The novel takes place during 28 BBY after the events of The Phantom Menace and covers the transition from being queen to senator
In this scene Padmé and other Senators meet to discuss a treaty with the Trade Federation they oppose
I can't help but think of Padmé’s response to the Trade Federation's blockade of Naboo during her reign as queen

Padmay 2024 - Day 01
One
Favorite costume from Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Peasant Tatooine Disguise
In Phantom Menace, Queen Amidala is shown with a muted expression, careful words in a measured tone, and cadence. Her face is covered and decorated with makeup or jewels, and her gowns are elaborate and untouchable. It is when she leaves Naboo and lands in Tatooine that we get to see bits of Padmé as herself, ironically, when she is disguised as a handmaiden dressed in a peasant disguise
Concept art by American artist Iain McCaig next to the final design by Scottish costume designer Trisha Biggar
This is how Padmé presents herself when she meets Anakin for the first time and he compares her to angel

Padmay 2024 - Day 05
Revenge of the Fifth
Padmé had studied and worked to serve the Republic since she was 8 years old. In 22 BBY, during the events of Revenge of the Sith, she witnesses the fall of democracy and the birth of the Empire in the Senate, saying one of her most iconic and important quotes:
"So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause."

Padmay 2024 - Day 20
Diligence
noun: careful and persistent work or effort
From Star Wars Adventures #12 "Intermission Pt. 1" Padmé and Anakin are invited to actress Risha Synata's ship to see her performance "inspired" by Amidala's reign and other real events of the Republic
Padmé is... not excited about it all. Meanwhile, Anakin is fangirling because it turns out that the Hero with No Fear LOVES holo dramas
During the performance, Padmé points out all the inaccuracies, and we get this awesome exchange where she explains why the potrayal bothers her so much-
She knows that some will take the liberties as facts, skewing history, and making it easier to repeat the past. She shows that it is important to be careful in how we treat history, lest we bind ourselves to repeat it...

Padmay 2024 - Day 03
Three
Favorite quote & costume from Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
Final Senate Gown / Liberty Dies
so this is how liberty dies... with thunderous applause
This outfit is seen in both Revenge of the Sith and in season 6 of The Clone Wars (An Old Friend)
There are several moments where Padmé embodies the Voice of Reason throughout the prequels, and this quote establishes the moment the Republic begins to turn into the Empire
