Warmth (5-2-24)
"Billy." He looked up at Boomer's voice, brows raised. He was in the middle of skinning an animal, hands covered in blood.
"Hm?" He rose from the table, head tilted to the side. "What's up, Blondie? Are you cold?"
Boomer nodded.
"A little, yes." He patted the spot next to him. "Could you...?"
Billy grinned. "...I'll do ya one better."
Making his way to the couch, he sprawled across Boomer's lap.
Boomer smiled at his warmth as Billy found a comfortable position to lay in. He yawned, showing all of his teeth.
"Wake me up later, 'kay Boom? I've still gotta skin that deer." Boomer nodded, resting a hand on his bare, scaled shoulder.
"Alright, Billy." Boomer murmured, running his hand across Billy's scales, admiring the intricate pattern. "I'll make sure to wake you, before Sally comes back, and we can make dinner together, the three of us." Billy drowsily smiled.
"...I'd like that."
